* The electricity is included up to US$2 day. The exceeded consume, if applicable, must be paid cash at checkout. (Price per kW, 20 Pesos (or US$0,40).
* Upon arrival to the apartment you have a welcome kit, until you have time to buy your favourite products at the grocery store that is 5 minutes walking. It contains: Shampoo and body shop for one day, 2 toilet paper each bathroom, dispenser with drinking water, 4 doses of coffee, some sugar, some paper napkins.

Getting around
* From the airport, you can get to the apartment only by taxi, there is no public transport.
* A 10 minute walk you have a bus stop, this service is quite unpunctual and does not connect the whole city but it is very economical.
* To park your car, there are usually free spaces on the street near the apartment.
* We remind you that you have all the services within a 10 minute walk of the apartment.

The Apartementos Florisel are a beautiful jewel nestled in a sea of apartments. They are well maintained and secure (we saw maintenance happening in other units while there) and have easy access (think easy to run in to use the bathroom and grab a lunch for the beach) to your own private beach that you can find chairs anytime of day. No rush to save a spot early in the morning. Sleep in, walk into town, and you’ll still have a day at the beach! The short walk into town gives you access to numerous restaurants and markets to buy supplies. We ate at a different restaurant for dinner most nights (think maximum beach time with dinner after dark at 7-8) but we also ate a majority of meals in to maximize beach time. The restaurants are surprisingly upscale and all were delicious. Be adventurous!! The streets were extremely safe at all times of day with hired security at resorts and apartments. As well there are the regular police and the tourist police. The Dominican people treat their tourists extremely well with everyone we encountered being nice and helpful. Be forewarned if you don’t like saying no multiple times a day that the sales guys on the beach are persistent. However, this is how they make their living , they work on commission to sell excursions to the tourist attractions you came to see so who can blame their trying? Sit closer to the apartments if you don’t want to be talked to. We booked the Isla Saona excursion (interesting day trip if you’re there for some time) via Gricel, the apartment manager, with the Merenba company they work with and felt safe. The drivers were on time and spoke English which was helpful. They also will shuttle you to the airport. Super helpful! As for the beach salesmen, although they are pushy and territorial (think the seagulls in “Finding Nemo” ‘mine, mine, mine’), they are also helpful. We bought a fresh caught lobster one day from a local fisherman to cook in the apartment that night. While trying to figure out the exchange rate, one of the salesman walked up and interpreted. $30 for a fresh 3 lb lobster! He began to tell us about what seasonings to use to cook it and then went to the store to buy them for us!!! It was delicious! We also parasailed via the shopping center beach salesmen. It was a well oiled system of shuttling people out to the main boat. They will sell you pictures on all excursions. It’s your vacation, buy them. We love a good deal, but remember; these people are working very hard to give you a good time so we thought, “pay them for their service”. They will barter but remember it’s their living and you’re in their country! As for the apartment staff, we can’t say enough about how well we were treated. Gricel is so timely with all questions (as is your host, Hana)....

The apartment is great. It's convenient to restaurants and bars and is secure, has a locked gate to enter. The only down side we has was it's next to a "shopping" center that is run down and you will get haggled everyday on the beach to enter or go on an excursion. Although it is annoying you can get to know a few and they are nice. Fortunately they are forced to close by 6 so walking on the beach at night is very pleasant and safe, there are lots of security guards. Also I would suggest not exchanging to pesos. Every place we went accepted US $ and Eros and it was cheaper. All and all it was a fabulous vacation.

This place was super amazing! Ana was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the stay. Tons of fun stuff to do nearby. The beach is a few steps from the location. Definitely check this place out!

Absolutely amazing. Everything was even better than pictured. Steps from the beach and mere minutes from a ton of delicious restaurants and sights. Ana from the get go was extremely communicative and was very helpful with getting me familiar with everything around the apartment (restaurants, attractions, grocery stores, etc.) I will be coming back!

The Florisel is a wonderful group of comfortable apartments in a very well kept and lush green landscaping. The beachfront was very clean, inviting and offers a relaxing environment.. It would be an ideal location for one person or larger groups to enjoy.
