C201 Florisel – Lovely Beach Apartment

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this! It was just perfect. I was skeptical, but when we arrived everything went smoothly. Hana coordinated for a driver to pic us up! The apartment was clean, spacious, and really updated. We got a balcony and rooftop deck. Plus, STEPS away from the beach. Really nothing but amazing thing to say. Oh and BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY!!!!! SOOOO MANY MOSQUITOS IN THE COUNTRY IN GENERAL!!!

Hana is so easy and quickly to communicate and the apartment is decorated fresh, new, modern and so comfortable. The location is great, inside of the beach and with restaurants and supermarkets so close. The kitchen has enough pots and pans for daily cooking. The Matress is second to none and the internet very strong and fast. The grounds are well kept and pleasant. The manager, Ana is the best manager ever, when you send her a message with a need, she is at your door with the answer at the same minute. Alexandra, her helper, is the most attentive and caring person. She will clean and change the line in your place always with a big smile. The building next to their condominium is decayed and needs lots of care, it is really ugly. The first two days it seems that it was all we could see going in and out of our gated area, however, after that we got used to it and didn’t bother us anymore.

Fab location, great apartment with everything you need! Ana and Hana were brilliantly helpful, arranged taxi's for us when we needed them, introduced us to Patricia the excursion lady and gave us some great tips for our stay. Ana welcomed us when we arrived and gave us a very comprehensive tour and from then on continued to be invaluable! She couldn't help us enough! Unfortunately our trip was cut short by Hurricane Maria, but even then, Ana and Hana made it clear that their top priority were the guests safety. Could not recommend enough. Best meal we ate out was at Citrus, up where the shops are - possibly one of the best meals we've ever eaten!

The place is 98% like the pictures shown. The location is steps to the sand and the service Ana provided was well beyond expectations. If you wish to just sit back relax on the beach and/or sit out on the patio enjoying the WiFi(Excellent BTW) and reading a book this is definitely the place to be.

Excelente apartamento, céntrico para comer en restaurantes de la zona y con acceso a la playa. El servicio muy bueno y el cuenta con todo lo que dice el perfil. Absolutamente recomiendo este lugar para ir a pasar una relajadas vacaciones!

We loved our stay at Floricel. The location was so central to our surroundings everything, super market, restaurants, and bars were all walking distance. The beach was literally a minute walk. Ana was a great host and was very attentive. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing stay.

Our hosts house was very clean and comfortable apart from a odor coming from the trash. We were told to turn off all air conditioning whenever we leave, but it also creates hot temperatures that festers trash so for anyone who didn't realize this like us, put your trash outside or in the garbage before leaving or it will leave a continuous yuck odor in your home away from home for the duration of your stay. Ana hour host guide was great. Very informative friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment is literally a few steps from the beach you take a short Stone path and it opens up to a large expanse of White Sands and the ocean. The summer's are apparently the seaweed season, so the water will not always be clear. However the water is warm and the beach is a perfect place to relax. You will find you have multiple options for chairs and individual thatched cabanas. Super nice feature while in a very hot tropical environment. Bavaro he's a very small beach town, it is up and coming so you'll see a lot of new construction and it could potentially be a very cool place for tourists to stay. At the moment there is really just one or 2 cross streets where tourists can go to eat with one or two shops. You will find there is a mini market about a block away from the Florisel community and there is a larger Supermarket about two and a half blocks from the community. So most things essential are walkable. However if you want to explore I would suggest renting a car it is a great way to other beaches around the area and other attractions in an affordable manner. If you want to soak up in a pool other than the ocean there is a pool available on the other side of the gate that is part of the Los Corales community that is opened to the Florisel guests as well. There is a great and I mean wonderfully great breakfast restaurant steps from the gate called Joy- go there for breakfast and try a pelatas, you won't regret it. If you are looking for a adventure go and check out Las terrenas. But be careful, i would highly recommend you know the language or have someone that it fluent in Spanish. If you are looking for shopping try out the beachside shops of plaza bavaro but be prepared for pushy vendors. Overall the home was good, location super great if you love the beach and things to do plenty.

Ana was a great hosts she was available the whole time, the apartment was clean and practically right on the beach,you can't ask for a better place for the price,will definitely stay there next time I go to Punta cana.

We really enjoyed our stay at C201 Florisel. The apartment is located on the beach. From door to beach, the walk is 30 seconds. The beach itself is private so you have plenty of space and shade. It's also kept very clean. There are several restaurants and a grocery store within five minutes walk. The apartment itself was exactly as pictured. There are two a/c units in the apt, both are extremely cold. At night, it was very quiet, so we slept very well. There are three wireless access points for internet. The connection is very good as I downloaded several movies in the hour before I left for the airport. We were given fresh beach and bath towels every two days. There is also a five gallon water station inside the apt for hot or cold water. Ana arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. She was waiting at the gate for us when we arrived and she gave us a very good walking tour of the property and the surrounding area. The area felt very safe, I had no problems walking along the beach at night. There were at least 3 security guards around the complex. This is after you drive through a guarded entrance to the neighborhood. One thing to note: make sure you bring enough cash/pesos. The banks are downtown, about 1.5 miles from the beach. There are no ATMs within the area or in any of the neighboring resorts. Ana arranged a motor bike for me - it was only 4 dollars for the ride to the bank. A taxi driver wanted forty dollars for the same trip. There is a place to change dollars to pesos within an 8 minute walk and a scooter/car rental place right around the corner. We will definitely book with Ana again when we return to the Dominican.
