C201 Florisel – Lovely Beach Apartment

Extremely safe and family oriented area. Hana's place is perfect for an adult getaway. Especially loved the office alcove as we are both in grad school and research doesn't stop for vacations. Stash cash aside for the electricity and dedicated taxi to/from airport and then get ready to relax, play on beach, or explore this island.

Good stay. Advantages: * Few seconds away from the beach * Suitable for couples * Well equiped kittchen * High level of communication with host and administrator * Air conditioning - was very helpful, the air is very humid and heavy in Punta Cana Disadvantages : * The quality of water may depend on the season. At the end of the June (while my stay) sea was full of weeds. Also during the day there are many boats around the beach, and it smells a lot of gasoline each time they pass by * Not a private beach. Too many annoying commercials and local men that try hit on you if you are a single woman.

It is located in a great safe location in a very close proximity to the beach. It has a lot of shops, restaurants, and nightlife in a short walk.

I had an amazing time staying at this location. I was traveling alone for a few days and I felt completely safe. The apartment was perfect, just like the pictures. The location was amazing as well. Just a few short steps to the beach and there were many things to do and several restaurants. The people on the beach can be a bit pushy, to get you to buy excursions. However, once you say no they tend to leave you alone. Gricel and her mother were extremely helpful. I appreciated her quick communication, attentiveness, and their hospitality was above and beyond. After leaving this location I stayed at a resort for a few days. Once I left the resort I came back to this Airbnb because I loved it that much! I needed to book my second stay in short notice and Hana and Gricel made it happened without any problems. I truly enjoyed my stay and would come back. I highly recommend this location especially for individuals who are traveling alone. Hana and Gricel were great host!

The apartment was exactly what we expected and more. The Airbnb was less than a minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minutes to bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. The location was ideal! Any time we needed a taxi, Hana and Gricel were quick to arrange our ride. The communication before and during our trip was perfect, they were always available and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to travelers looking for a quiet beach getaway.

(Note: we traveled with my parents, who stayed in this unit at Florisel, while my husband and I stayed at the unit next door. Below is my parents’ review.) Our stay at Florisel was excellent! The apartment was clean and cheerfully decorated, and had everything we needed. I loved the balcony looking out on beautiful tropical vegetation. The proximity to the beach was outstanding--just a stone's throw. I also loved that we were in walking distance to anything we needed--markets, pharmacy, and great restaurants. Sampling the nearby restaurants was a blast! It was nice having a complete kitchen and markets nearby so we could stock up on food for breakfast and lunch. You could also do dinners in the apartment if you wanted (we wanted to sample all the nearby fantastic restaurants for dinner this trip). The apartment truly hit all the marks we were looking for and the manager, Gricel, her mom, and all the staff helped make our stay extremely enjoyable. Gricel and her mom were so attentive to all our questions and needs, and it was great that housekeeping brought us clean bath and beach towels. This was the best beach vacation I've ever had and we definitely want to come back, hopefully for a longer stay next time. Many thanks to all the staff for doing such a fantastic job!

This was everything we could want and so much more! The proximity to the beach is impeccable, the communication was quick and clear, and the apartment itself was so perfect and clean. An absolutely perfect spot for a weekend trip. The double gate for security made us feel safe as well as the location. Mini marts are close by as well as good restaurant options. Honestly we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
