* A 10 minute walk you have a bus stop, this service is quite unpunctual and does not connect the whole city but it is very economical.

Our stay was great!! Unit was as listed and Hana couldn't have been more responsive and helpful. Too bad we had just two days to enjoy the accommodations. Would definitely stay here again, due to the great value compared to many others in the area.

Hana & her staff made our first trip to the DR very easy. The taxi awaited our arrival at the airport and Hana's Manager, Ana, welcomed us with open arms (literally) upon arrival. After a tour of the apartment & grounds, Ana took us on a walking tour of town, pointing out the best restaurants, supermarkets & currency exchanges. Extremely helpful! And Groundskeeper Bernardo anticipated all our beach needs with a friendly smile. We will put Hana's place at the top of our list for a second visit. Thanks to all! Kurt & Family

El departamento es muy grande y lindo, tanto la playa como minimarket y restaurantes están a 5-10 minutos caminando. Lo ideal es arrendar una moto o un auto si se quiere conocer los alrededores de Bávaro. La anfitriona siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros, e incluso nos ayudó con el Transfer de ida y vuelta al aeropuerto.

Upon arrival, Hana offered transit to and from the home. During our short stay she was always a quick message or call away if we needed anything. Great location, great people, will be back again!

Fantastic spot. Very close to the beach. Apartment is gorgeous and very comfortable. Everything worked! Hanna made logistics very simple. Only suggestion is to bring cash or exchange money at the airport. The local town doesn't have an ATM machine.

Great place! We rented a car, but it really is not needed unless you will be traveling throughout the Country. Restaurants are nearby, as well as many hotels and spas. Hana responds quickly and was an excellent host! Beach access is great!

One of the best Airbnb experiences I've ever had. Not only is the apartment itself beautiful and clean, it's in a perfect location. The beach is breathtakingly beautiful. Nuria was wonderful and always available to answer any questions we had. We also greatly appreciated Bernardo who assisted us with our beach chairs every day. This was our first trip to the Dominican Republic and we can't wait to go back. If you want an authentic experience for a great price, this is the perfect place!

This was a truly great AirBnB experience. The apartment was exactly as photographed, however, I can honestly say it was better in person. Everything seems new and very well maintained. The cleaning lady is fantastic. The apartment is incredibly comfortable. All the furnishings are tasteful and in new condition. There is no problem with hot water. The air conditioners are amazing. We couldn't keep them on for more than a few minutes because it got too cold. There was no hint of the mildew smell so common in tropical climates. The apartment sits in a community of new apartment complexes, some of which are still being built. The physical location of Hana's apartment is just 50 meters from the beach, much better than 99% of all the others. The community felt quite safe. There is lots of security both in the community itself and at the resort next door. There was a market about 5 minutes walk, and a number of restaurants. Unfortunately, we didn't have much luck with the restaurants in the area. They all seemed kind of pricey for what they were and none of the meals were very good. It was hard for two of us to eat for less than $40 without alchohol for not very good meals. They all felt like tourist traps. Maybe there are better places we didn't try. We were only there 3 nights so had limited chance to explore. We were met by Hana's friend Ana. It was obvious from the moment we met her that Ana was enthusiastic about making sure we were happy with everything. Hana replies to all her messages in instant fashion. Overall, the service simply can't be beat. We became the guests from hell when we locked ourselves out late night and embarrasingly had to message Hana for assistance. I wouldn't have blamed her for being upset with us but instead we were helped with a smile. Sometimes, it's little experiences that tell you the most about people and this was one. I can't stress enough that I felt these were very high quality people I was dealing with. We used Hana's transfer service from the airport for 35 US Dollars. It went smoothly and the driver even carried our bags up the stairs to the second level apartment, an unnecessary but appreciated gesture. Hana referred us to a tour company when we asked about things to do in Punta Cana and we booked a couple tours online before we arrived. I can't compare the services, but everything went smoothly and the drivers knew where to pick us up. We were asked to pay some money at check-out for electricty which suprised us because we thought we were very careful with our electric usage. It seems from reading listings in Punta Cana, that this is pretty normal even if it's unusual in other areas. I've stayed in probably 10 AirBnB apartments, and many other apartment rentals during my travels. I also rent apartments out myself. I've...
