The villa is a newly built, 7-bedroom private home inside Cocotal Golf & Country Club in Bávaro. It sits directly on the course, looking out toward the lake and holes 7/8 (Buganvilla), so most common areas face open green space instead of neighboring houses.

The outdoor layout includes a private pool, Jacuzzi (not heated), shaded dining palapa with BBQ, and multiple lounge areas. Inside, the house has daily housekeeping, a dedicated villa manager, a full kitchen, a private movie room, and a fitness room with cardio and free weights.

Bedrooms are set up for groups and families: most have their own bathroom, and several can be arranged as either King or Twin.

Please note that the lake in front of the villa is for views only – it’s not for swimming, boating, or any water activity.

Staying here also comes with access to Cocotal’s amenities. This is a gated residential golf community with 24-hour controlled entry, a 27-hole course, practice facilities, paddle tennis courts, a soccer field, shared resort-style pools (including a kids’ pool), Bali beds and sunlounger areas, a playground, walking space, and a clubhouse with a restaurant/sports bar.

There’s also a small market inside the community for basics. In addition, guests of the villa receive VIP access (with prior reservation and consumption credit) to Jellyfish Beach Club & Restaurant on Bávaro Beach.

If you want to get out and explore, Bávaro Beach is about a 5-minute drive from Cocotal’s main gate. Just outside the community, you’ll also find local restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and shopping.

Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is roughly 17 km / 10.5 miles from Cocotal. Santo Domingo’s airport (SDQ) is farther – plan on about a 3-hour drive.

The Space

The villa is a newly built (2025) two-story, 7-bedroom private home designed for groups. It features its own swimming pool, Jacuzzi (not heated), shaded palapa with a built-in BBQ area, a dedicated movie room, and a private fitness room.

The main living areas are spacious and airy, featuring high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass that allow natural light to flood in, seamlessly connecting to the outdoor lounge and pool deck.

In the evening, soft exterior lighting brings the terraces, garden, and pool area to life and turns the outdoor space into an extension of the house – not just a daytime hangout.

Each bedroom is set up as a retreat, with quality bedding, air conditioning, and (in most rooms) an ensuite bathroom. Most rooms face either the pool, tropical landscaping, or the golf course area, so you’re not waking up to parking lots or street noise.

The house also has multiple indoor lounge spaces for relaxing, a fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor dining areas for lingering over dinner outside.

The pool area is designed for slow time: sun loungers for reading, shaded nooks for afternoon naps, and enough seating that your whole group can be outside without crowding each other. Landscaping around the property keeps the vibe private while still letting in cross-breezes.

Beyond the main social areas, there are two standout spaces:

• The private movie/media room includes plush seating and a high-quality sound setup – ideal for family movie nights, kids winding down after the pool, or quiet time after dinner.
• The fitness room is equipped with essentials like a treadmill, dumbbells, and an incline bench, so you can keep a basic routine without leaving the house.

More than a place to sleep, the villa is designed to lower your shoulders, slow your pace, and let you come home actually rested.

The Bedrooms

The villa has 7 bedrooms in total: 6 are located on the upper level, and 1 is located on the main (ground) level.

• Bedroom 1 (upstairs): The primary bedroom with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, 85-inch TV, ensuite bathroom with rain shower, and access to a private balcony with outdoor Jacuzzi and views of the pool and golf course.
• Bedroom 2 (upstairs) with 1 king bed, air-conditioning, 55-inch TV, ensuite bathroom with rain shower, and balcony.
• Bedroom 3 (upstairs) with 1 Full bed, air-conditioning, 55-inch TV, and an ensuite bathroom.
• Bedroom 4 (upstairs) with 1 King bed or 2 Twin beds, air-conditioning, 55-inch TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.
• Bedroom 5 (upstairs) with 1 King bed or 2 Twin beds, air-conditioning, 55-inch TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.
• Bedroom 6 (upstairs) with 1 bunk bed (Queen bed + Twin bed) and 1 Twin bed, air-conditioning, and an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower. This bedroom does not have a TV.
• Bedroom 7 (downstairs) with 1 Full bed, air-conditioning, 43-inch TV, and private bathroom with rain shower.

Villa Amenities

VIP Beach Club Access (Jellyfish Beach Club & Restaurant, Bávaro Beach):

• Villa guests receive access to Jellyfish Beach Club & Restaurant. Access is not automatic – a reservation is required and is subject to availability.
• Round-trip transportation is included when you prepay a minimum consumption of $25 per person. This payment is made in advance via a secure link to confirm the booking.
• The prepaid amount is applied as a credit toward food and beverages at Jellyfish. Any unused portion of that credit is non-refundable.
• Outside food and drinks are not allowed at the beach club. All food and beverages consumed at Jellyfish must be paid for directly at the restaurant/bar and are not included in the villa rental.
• Blackout dates and restrictions may apply. On blackout dates (for example, during private events), access to the beach club is not available.

Cocotal Golf & Country Club

There is currently no resort fee, but separate fees do apply for the use of the following facilities and amenities at the resort:

Please note that certain services and facilities are not included in the villa rental price. Use of resort amenities (such as golf, sports facilities, classes, and activities), as well as food and beverages at on-site restaurants and bars, may carry separate fees payable directly to the provider.

Villa Staff

• Housekeeping. A dedicated (Spanish-speaking) housekeeper looks after the villa, including general cleaning, making the beds, and laundering towels and linens, typically every third day. Personal laundry service (guest clothing) is not included. The housekeeper may stay on the property in a separate staff area.
• Villa Manager. You’ll also have a villa manager who speaks both English and Spanish. This is your main point of contact during your stay – the person you can message if you have a question, need help, or want to arrange something extra. The villa manager will welcome you on arrival, handle check-in, and remain available daily for support throughout your stay.

Before your stay is confirmed, you’ll sign a short rental agreement that outlines the house rules. Everyone staying in the villa must be registered with Cocotal Golf & Country Club before arrival – it’s a gated community, so they need names in advance.

If you plan to have visitors who aren’t on the original guest list, they’ll also need to be registered and may be charged an additional fee. Cocotal can decline entry to unregistered visitors.

For safety, the property has security cameras at the front entrance and along the sides of the villa. There are no cameras in any interior or private living areas.

• The villa sits inside a secured, gated golf community. For safety and community rules, every guest staying at the villa must be registered with Cocotal Golf & Country Club before arrival.
• You’re welcome to have visitors, but they’re treated as “outside guests.” Outside guests must present a valid ID, pay a registration fee, and be approved by the resort. Cocotal reserves the right to refuse entry to any outside guest.

Your stay comes with a built-in support team. A dedicated housekeeper (Spanish-speaking) handles cleaning, beds, and linens, and may live on-site in a separate staff area, so the villa is kept in order without you having to manage it. You’ll also have a villa manager who speaks both English and Spanish.

Think of this person as your point of calm: they meet you on arrival, walk you through the house, handle check-in, and stay available each day for questions, coordination, or last-minute plans you didn’t arrange in advance.

Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is close – about 17 km / 10.5 miles from Cocotal’s entrance. Santo Domingo’s airport (SDQ) is farther, roughly a three-hour drive.

Getting around the Bávaro area is easiest with a private driver or transportation service. We recommend arranging this in advance. Please note that transportation services are optional and come at an additional cost.
