Sosua – Modern Studio with Pool, Bar & Terrace – 1BR

I enjoyed my stay wonderful time and great commucation

Just stayed at Mario's condo for a week and it was great! Listing and pics are accurate. The area was quiet and secluded, not a lot of other guests. It was a mix of families, older and younger couples that came through. The pool was huge and was my favourite part, it was like staying in a resort except no other people. Check in time was for 3 PM but we showed up at 2 and they were ready which was great that we didn't have to wait! The condo was very clean when we arrived and the grounds and pool were very well kept! . The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was equipped but we could have used more than one of pots and pans to make cooking go a bit faster. The complex grounds did have 24 hour security , which consisted of one guy for the whole grounds. To some this may not be enough. I felt safe especially during the day, but I feel like during the night there could have been an extra guy on guard. Overall would recommend this for others. Thanks Mario

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The surroundings were clean and the food was acceptable and affordable. Breakfast was great! The staff answered all of my questions and met all of my needs. I would definitely stay here again once Im in the area.

Place was not in puerto plata like I thought. Tucked away up the road from Sosua. Further out the way than I bargained for. But the place was nice, cozy and clean. Host was available for questions or concerns. Nice size patio. The problems outside of location, was there was no microwave for convenient food warm up with out turning on hot oven. Ohh!!! Please be careful with This Stove. The burners or not very safe. 2 leak gas from the underneath and they tend to shut off with no flames which can cause explosions here because they do not put the odor in propane here so you won't necessary smell anything but the Gas is flowing around the house. I've had one friend almost die in an kitchen explosion. The stove is kinda cheap so be careful. Also needed at least one roll of toilet tissue until we could get to the store. Problem. No paper towels either. The hotel/apartments have nice pool area. Kinda of a retirement community though. Not great for younger lively guest looking for excitement at location. Very sleepy in the evening and night. Pool shuts down early.

this place is definitely a nice spot, with a beautiful pool and lots of parking if you get a rental. Security is very good and its a safe and quiet environment. I definitely recommend Mario's Place and this location. Only two small issues and that is there is very limited hot water and wifi isn't that great

This is a great place with a great location. Absolutely worth every penny.

The place is beautiful and quite. So after dealing with the hustle and bustle in the city centre you can come back to Mario place and enjoy some calm. Everything was exactly as said by Mario and previous guest. I also had a problem figuring out how to take a hot/warm shower, but no vacation is perfect. Communication between Mario was great he answered all my questions instantly, I would stay again and I would recommend to my friends and family. The pool is gorgeous. Thanks Mario

Cuando llegamos ya nos estaban esperando, nos explicaron todo perfectamente. El apartamento tranquilo, iluminado, limpio, decorado con gusto y agradable. Est (Website hidden by Airbnb) minutos en coche del centro de ocio de Sosua. El salón tiene aire acondicionado pagando un plus. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado sin pagar plus, aunque hace tanto ruido que no puedes dormir con él puesto. En esta epoca no lo utilizamos ya que el apartamento esta bien ventilado y con los ventiladores de techo han sido suficiente. Lo mejor el colchón es cómodo y nos dieron sabanas y toallas limpias por si queríamos cambiarlos. La cocina muy completa, tiene todo lo indispensable para cocinar. Tiene botellon con maquina de agua caliente i fria El baño estava limpio, con toallas, papel de wc, jabón manos y tiene agua caliente, aunque tienes que esperar un rato a que salga. Terraza con vistas a la espectacular piscina, me encantó. Tienen gimnasio aunque sucio y sin mantenimiento. Seguro que si volvemos a Sosua tendremos en cuenta este apartamento.
