- Our journey will begin at approximately 7 in the morning, taking into account your location, to make the most of the early hours when traffic is minimal. You will be traveling in a private minivan, accompanied by a professional guide throughout the journey, ensuring you have an informative and enjoyable experience.
- Our first stop will be at Conquista Park, located near La Romana, which is the largest thematic park in the Caribbean. It will transport you back to the 15th century, allowing you to experience the incredible history of the New World’s discovery, right where it all began, on the island of Hispaniola, which is the modern-day territory of the Dominican Republic. You’ll also get to see a chocolate workshop and learn about its production.
- Following this, we’ll head to Santo Domingo and start exploring the city with a visit to Los Tres Ojos Cave (The Three Eyes National Park). This is one of the most visited and popular attractions in the Dominican Republic. Here, you’ll encounter four underground lakes surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens. You can enjoy the view of crystal-clear water and unique rock formations, and you’ll even take a small ferry to reach the fourth lake through an underground river.
- Next, you’ll visit and enter the Columbus Lighthouse, a monumental building dedicated to the memory and historical role of the great Italian explorer Christopher Columbus, who discovered America. Immerse yourself in history by exploring the interior of the building and enjoying panoramic views of Santo Domingo from the observation deck.
- You’ll also have the opportunity to admire car (Alcázar de Colón), the home of Diego Columbus, the son of the New World’s discoverer, who made a significant contribution to the history of the Dominican Republic.
- Our next stop will be Casas Reales, which refers to the royal residences of the colonial period, playing a crucial role in the governance and administration of the country. It was an important government building.
- Afterward, you’ll discover the National Pantheon, an old Jesuit church. Over the years, this building has served various functions, including a theater, a tobacco warehouse, and the headquarters of state institutions.
- You’ll also visit the Santo Domingo Cathedral, a 16th-century Catholic church, one of the oldest in the Americas, renowned for its impressive arches, stained glass windows, and rich history.
- Following the wealth of sights and experiences, it will be time for a lunch featuring Dominican national cuisine.
- After a delicious lunch, we’ll visit a 4D Cinema, where you’ll watch short films dedicated to the island’s exploration history, offering a more modern way to immerse yourself in the Dominican Republic’s past.
- Upon your request, we can add a visit to the Ozama Fortress to the tour itinerary. It’s the oldest military fort from the time of the colonization of the New World, situated on the banks of the Ozama River.

Conquista Park & Chocolate Workshop
We will visit the largest thematic park in the Caribbean near La Romana, Conquista Park. It will transport you back to the 15th century, allowing you to explore the incredible history of the New World's discovery.You'll also have the opportunity to observe a chocolate workshop from the outside and learn about its production.
Los Tres Ojos National Park
After that, we will head to Santo Domingo, starting with a visit to Los Tres Ojos Cave (The Three Eyes National Park). This park features four underground lakes surrounded by lush gardens. You'll have the opportunity to explore the caves, crystal-clear lakes, and unique rock formations. Additionally, you'll take a ferry to access the fourth lake through an underground river.
Columbus Lighthouse
Our next stop is Columbus Lighthouse (Faro a Colón), a huge building honoring the famous Italian explorer Christopher Columbus. You'll go inside to learn about history and then ascend to the observation deck for breathtaking panoramic views of Santo Domingo!
Alcázar de Colón
We'll also admire the Alcazar, the former home of Diego Columbus, son of the New World explorer Christopher Columbus, who played a significant role in Dominican Republic history.
Casas Reales
You'll have the opportunity to visit Casas Reales, also known as the Museum of the Royal Houses, a historic building that once housed Spanish governors.
National Pantheon
We’ll visit the National Pantheon (Panteón de la Patria), a mausoleum where notable Dominican figures, including Juan Pablo Duarte, a Dominican Republic founder, rest. Today, the structure stands as a national symbol of the Dominican Republic.
Santo Domingo Cathedral
Explore the Santo Domingo Cathedral (Santo Domingo de la Calzada Cathedral), an ancient Catholic church from the 16th century, one of the oldest in the Americas. Admire its impressive arches, stained glass windows, and rich history to appreciate the Dominican Republic's cultural heritage.
Dominican Lunch
Afterward, it's time for a lunch break to savor Dominican national cuisine and recharge after the program filled with significant landmarks.
The Colonial Gate 4D Cinema
Then we'll take you to a 4D Cinema, offering short films that vividly portray the island's history. This immersive experience provides a contemporary perspective on the rich history of the Dominican Republic.
Fortaleza Ozama
Upon request, we can include a visit to the Ozama Fortress, the oldest New World military fort, located on the Ozama River's banks, built by European colonizers.
The expected return time to the hotel is between 6:00 and 7:00 PM.
