The space
The villa is located at Casa de Campo Resort, a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security. The villa overlooks the Dye Fore golf course – right in front of where the Chavon River meets the Caribbean Sea and has incredible views of the ocean and the Chavon River.
Since it opened in La Romana almost 50 years ago as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities the world over. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean.
This incredible 7000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with a swimming pool at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th-century replica Mediterranean village.
Casa de Campo has its very own airport, located just five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located approx. 45-minutes’ drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away.
To get around the resort, the villa rental includes two 6-passenger golf/touring carts, which you may use to go anywhere inside Casa de Campo.
The space
The villa offers you the perfect home base for a relaxing and joyful vacation at Casa de Campo resort. You’ll feel completely relaxed in this modern villa with the Caribbean and tropical style/decor.
All 6 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, closet, air-conditioning, TV and direct access to an outdoor area and small garden where you can spend a quiet moment in peace e.g. before the day begins or as the day ends.
The outdoor area is nothing less than amazing! This is really where you’ll spend most of your time – in and around the swimming pool and enjoying the ocean view. The swimming pool is a saltwater pool and can be heated.
You can lounge around the pool in one of the comfortable sunbeds or enjoy the shade of the outdoor Palapa (an open-sided deck with a thatched roof made of dried palm leaves), which has a sofa area and also a dining table. This is a great place to take your meals day & night.
You also have a huge garden/lawn area to play around in. Whether you want to play a game of soccer, throw a football, play catch or do some yoga, the lawn area will work perfectly for any outdoor activity – just bring your own equipment!
Downstairs
The villa only has one level, which makes it very family- and multi-generational friendly.
The villa is air-conditioned but also offers you plenty of outdoor space if you prefer the feel of the warm, Caribbean air. Spend your days swimming and playing in the pool and soak up the sun on one of the sunbeds by the pool. Enjoy a delicious lunch served on the terrace overlooking the river & ocean and take a nap poolside and let the Caribbean breeze carry you away…
Five of the bedrooms are located inside the villa and the last bedroom is located outside – a super private, underground suite that offers the ultimate privacy! All bedrooms are very spacious, comfortable and have high ceilings with ceiling fan and air condition.
Each bedroom is tastefully decorated in its own tropical color. There are 3 bedrooms with king beds, 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each and 1 bedroom with 2 full-size beds.
The villa has 2 master suites. Both master suites have a king bed, ensuite bathroom and a private outdoor spa area with a private Jacuzzi – perfect for an in-villa spa treatment or just a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi.
The villa has spacious and comfortable living spaces, including a living room area with 3 large sofas. This is a great place to relax and you can slide the big windows to the side and open up the living room towards the pool area. Right next to the living room, you’ll find a cozy TV room, which also doubles as a library/study and small office space.
The formal, indoor dining room table seats 12 people, but you will probably prefer to enjoy your meals in the outdoor palapa and dining more casually by the pool.
The large kitchen with island offers a good working space with all of the necessary equipment for cooking delicious meals during your vacation – but you don’t have to worry about cooking while you stay at this villa, because you’ll have a personal chef included in the rental (groceries are not included).

Villa staff
When you stay at the villa, you’ll have a chef, a butler, 2 maids, and a gardener included. Your personal chef will prepare all meals to be enjoyed at the villa (groceries are not included). The maids will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens. The butler will assist you and the staff around the villa, serve drinks & food, etc., and the gardener is in charge of keeping the grounds perfectly landscaped. The staff is available daily until 10 pm.
You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Our villa managers speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive at the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

Getting around
If you’re staying at Casa de Campo, you might not really need a rental car. However, should you feel the need to rent a car, please know that it is perfectly safe to drive around town on your own – just keep your eyes open and be prepared for anything in traffic! Normal traffic rules and laws do apply even though they are not always practiced by the locals!
If you prefer to have someone drive you to where you need to go, we can provide reliable and comfortable transportation in e.g. a minivan, small bus or luxury vehicle (e.g. Chevrolet Tahoe). Please ask your villa manager for more information, prices and availability.

Highly recommend this house. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They took care of everything. We were two families (9 people) and had plenty of room. Amenities and staff were wonderful.
