Apartments for rent in Cap Cana (Fishing Lodge) – Stunning 3 BDR condo with marina view

This is a very nice place in a great location. It does need some updating. The location is perfect, right on the water with a nice pool, and close to restaurants. Just understand it is CapCana, and although it is big, there is never any people around.

Must try all the restaurants in the area!

Here are my notes from the condo. Beautiful view, All of the doormen who helped us to the room with our luggage and food was awesome, Sports bar restaurant was good. Had bacon cheeseburger. Was good. Great $5 mojitos. The safe has some glitches. The condo Right next to the spa, masseuses are a little pushy so be mindful. The buffet by the lobby is excellent. Really good food and desserts and since we chose not to pay for the per day all-inclusive package for $85/day, we paid $40 per person for dinner, which included unlimited beer,wine, and other drinks as well. We thought it was well worth it. Japanese fusion restaurant is pricey but yummy. Had the steak over a bed of sliced veggies. Juanillo beach. Free. Decent food. Had quesadillas, weren’t good, but yaniqueque/platano cups with beef were good. $3-4 taxi ride from hotel lobby each way. Not great seating (more like picnic tables, older lounge chairs), beach was nice. A little rocky, but ok. But this beach was free, clean facilities, had food/liquor. Room service breakfast was good. Dinners were pricey and not worth what you paid. The condo is next door to the adult hotel but overall, very quiet; rarely saw other people. Parties at night but not a bothersome as they were far away. Highly recommend the l’occitane restaurant ( not sure if I spelled that correctly). It is a Venezuelan restaurant that has a delicious typical Dominican meal and awesome, awesome arepa sandwiches (recommend the gringito). They are even highly rated on trip advisor. All of the restaurants were always empty, but that was to our advantage. This condo is so perfect for families with young children who love the pool. No need to pack up the diaper bag to go to the pool. Stay away from the gift shop with snacks as they are super pricey. The mini market within cap Cana is perfect for your essentials and only a $3 cab ride away. If your children drink milk, the parmalat milk in the red box is the whole milk and is just fine.The sports bar did cook for us twice and delivered the meals. We ordered typical Dominican meals (pollo guisado and sancocho), and they were reasonably priced. Shout out to Luis for helping with this. Overall, this trip was just perfect. Ricardo was very responsive and a great host. A few things need to be updated and fixed within the co do just to maintain the beauty of this rental, but they are minor. A few things to buy if you plan on staying here and cooking occasionally for about a week: water, paper towels, toilet paper to replenish, dish sponge and soap, paper plates if you Don’t want to wash. The view outside and privacy of this rental is fabulous. It is quiet, the views at night are stunning, and I just can’t wait to come back! All of the staff are so grateful, polite, and willing to go out of their way for you. The pool gets cleaned every other day or so and is always sparkling. No problem with bugs! Pictures do not show how spacious this rental is. Free private parking. HIGHLY recommended. It’s an amazing stay. Thank you Ricardo!
