House Rules

1. If upon arriving at the property, you have any questions or doubts, please make sure to ask my check-in assistant or me during check-in. We are happy to answer any questions you might have.
2. If upon arriving at the property, you do not like something or find it inconvenient for your stay, please let my check-in assistant and me know immediately. By checking in, taking the keys and staying at the property, you express your complete satisfaction with it.
3. It is prohibited to throw paper into the toilet. There is a special trash bin nearby.
4. Air conditioners (AC) are to be used only with closed doors and windows. Using the ACs with open doors and/or windows may cause the overload, overheat and failure of ACs. If the ACs stop functioning because of improper usage (with open doors and/or windows), you cover the cost of repair.
5. During the check-in, you will receive information about how to use the ACs, water heater, kitchen appliances, Wi-Fi and other devices. Make sure to ask any questions if you have doubts. All the appliances must function perfectly at your check-in. Any damages to the property, its furniture or equipment caused during your stay are to be covered by you.
6. According to the Condominium Regulations, a deposit of US$300 is charged upon check-in and will be refunded at check-out minus the electricity fee and possible payment for damages to the property if there are any.
7. The electricity is paid separately and is not included in the reservation payment. The cost of electricity is 22 pesos/kw and is calculated based on the meter readings taken at check-in and check-out. The cost of electricity is to be covered at check-out and can be deducted from the deposit.
8. If you book a pet-free apartment, but bring a pet, there is a fine of US$100/night per pet. If you book a pet-welcome apartment, anyway, please let me know that you will bring your pet(s) with you.
9. Maintenance and repair personnel is available to provide any repair services from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please, let me know whenever you need help with any inconveniences or damages.
10. Early check-in and late check-out are paid extra depending on the time. Let me know in advance your arrival and departure hours.
11. Taking the keys of the property during the check-in, you declare that you were the person who made the reservation and paid for it using one of the available payment methods (credit/debit card, Paypal, or other payment method available) and that you are satisfied with the condition of the accommodation and have no complaints during the check-in. Payment for accommodation is not refundable.
12. The Host accepts no liability for any valuables or objects left unattended or left in the safe box.
13. The Host accepts no responsibility for any loss, accident, personal injury, medical expenses or property damage caused by personal negligence or by any other circumstances out of direct control of the host.
14. The Host is not responsible for possible consequences of force major circumstances or any damage or death caused by such.
15. You agree that any claim or dispute whatsoever that you may have against me, the Host, or any of my employees, resulting from any event occurring in the Dominican Republic, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic.
16. It is forbidden to turn on loud music, make noise or sing, touch valves or wrenches, braces or hoses.
17. It is forbidden to wash the car or to repair something in the car (also applies to a motorcycle), leave trash bags near the door, and let children swim and use the stairs without supervision of an adult.
18. It is forbidden to throw objects from windows or balconies.
19. Use of hookahs is prohibited at any time and in any place by law of the Dominican Republic.
20. Smoking is allowed only outside of the property or on the balcony.
21. The Host is not responsible for your vehicle(s) parked wherever near the building or outside the residential complex.
22. Any pools located in proximity of the property are free of charge only for those who booked properties with access to the pool that must be explicitly stated in the listing description. All other guests are not allowed to use the pools. If you have any questions about access to the pools, please, ask me in advance, before making the reservation.
23. If your accompanying parties or you violate public order and/or bother other guests and/or behave rudely towards employees of the Host and/or if your behavior or the behavior of your accompanying parties can damage the installations/property of the Host, the provision of accommodation services can be interrupted.
24. Violation of any of the above-mentioned rules is subject to a fine of US$300 in favor of the condominium administration and may lead to eviction without any refund.
25. Any cancellations are made according to the reservation and cancellation policy. Please, pay attention to the cancellation policy set for this property. An anticipated check-out is not subject to refund of any kind (neither partial nor total).
26. The number of guests staying at the property may not exceed the number of guests stated in the reservation details, according to the number set by you when making a reservation. If additional guests stay at the property, there is an extra fee per person. Kids are counted as adult guests.
27. No events or celebrations allowed without a written permit of the Host. Please, let the Host know in advance if you are planning any celebration/event.
