LOCATION:

Villa Hermosa II is located at the exclusive Casa de Campo Resort with easy access to all of Casa de Campo’s unique amenities, including Minitas Beach, the resort hotel, the shops and restaurants of the marina, golf courses, tennis courts and the beautifully-styled village of Altos de Chavon.

Casa de Campo Resort is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

Since it opened in La Romana almost 50 years ago as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities from all over the world. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean.

This incredible 7000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with swimming pool at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th century replica Mediterranean village.

Casa de Campo has its very own airport, located just five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located approx. 45-minutes’ drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away.

When you stay at Villa Hermosa II, you’ll have a golf touring cart included in the villa rental, which you can use for easy and convenient transportation inside Casa de Campo Resort, e.g. to go to the beach, marina, golf courses, etc.

THE SPACE:

Villa Hermosa II is a 9500 sq. ft. single-level villa, which makes is very convenient for multi-generational families. The villa has a huge backyard and is surrounded by a lush, tropical garden. This is your private playground! There is easily enough space for you to host a private event, e.g. an intimate destination wedding.

But, of course, the swimming pool and Jacuzzi are the two main features of the villa. The swimming pool is long enough for you to swim in and you can choose to lounge on the open deck next to the pool or underneath the covered pool deck – if you prefer some shade from the sun. There is also an outdoor dining table and sofa sitting area where you can hang out with your friends and family. Let your butler serve your favorite tropical cocktails all day long as you enjoy your vacation to the fullest.

The villa is designed in a contemporary style with an open floor plan that is perfect for large families and friends who want to spend good, quality time together. The interior design is very modern with clean lines, great furniture, high ceilings, light colors, lots of great design features and no clutter. This is definitely a place that will make you feel welcome and relaxed.

DOWNSTAIRS:

Villa Hermosa II only has one floor so it is perfect for families with children and grandparents as there are no stairs to climb.

The sleek, Italian-style kitchen with large cooking island, the dining room and the living room is all in one big, open space. This is truly the heart of the villa where you can entertain with your friends, enjoy delicious meals, fine wine and good conversations. Watch your personal chef create the most mouth-watering meals in the open kitchen as you enjoy a glass of wine, sitting by the kitchen island. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary to cook delicious meals during your vacation – and your villa rental includes a personal chef who will prepare all of your meals at the villa (food and beverages are not included).

The formal indoor dining table seats 10 people comfortably. This space is air conditioned and has high vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans – or if you prefer to feel the Caribbean breeze, you can slide open the big windows and let the air flow in. The villa also has a TV room with a large sofa with chaise where you can relax and just chill.

Step directly out onto the covered terrace by the swimming pool which has a comfortable sofa sitting area and an outdoor dining table. This is a great place to enjoy your breakfast and casual lunches by the pool. Ceiling fans keep the air moving so that you will always feel comfortable in this outdoor space.

Villa Hermosa II has 5 comfortable bedrooms – 2 bedrooms each have a king bed and 3 bedrooms each have 2 queen beds. All bedrooms are spacious and have air condition, ceiling fan, good quality beds, TV, ensuite bathroom and direct access to the garden through big, sliding doors. The furniture and décor is kept very light and contemporary.

CASA DE CAMPO RESORT FEE:

The villa rental does not include the mandatory Casa de Campo Resort fee, which must be paid on arrival at the resort:

• Adults over 12 years old: US$ 25 per person per night
• Kids from 4-12 years old: US$ 12 per person per night
• Kids under 4 years old: FREE

The Resort Fee gives you access to the facilities and amenities of Casa de Campo Resort, including 3 Pete Dye golf courses*, fitness center, tennis courts, restaurants & bars ($), use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool by the main hotel area & Minitas Beach, Altos de Chavon ($) and more. Food & beverages must be paid directly to the bar/restaurant and is never included in your villa rental ($). All sports activities and facilities have an additional fee and facilities may be closed on certain days for private events, maintenance, etc. ($) *Guests do not have access to La Romana Country Club (private, members only golf course).

VILLA STAFF:

When you stay at Villa Hermosa II, you’ll have a personal chef, a butler and a maid included. Your personal chef will prepare your meals to be enjoyed at the villa (food & beverages are not included). The butler will assist the staff and you around the villa, serve drinks & food, etc. The maid will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens.

You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Our villa managers speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

PRE-ARRIVAL CONCIERGE SERVICES:

Once you book Villa Hermosa II, our in-house concierge will be at your service to assist you in planning your stay from A to Z. You may choose these additional services at your convenience. All services are subject to availability and extra charges, i.e. they are not included in the villa rental price:

• Private airport transfers from Santo Domingo, La Romana and/or Punta Cana Airports
• Rental cars and other transportation
• Golf cart rental (for convenient transportation inside the resort; not for use on the golf courses)
• Spa treatments or in-villa massages
• Golf tee time reservations with shared transportation
• Excursions (catamaran, deep sea fishing, ATVs, zip lines, etc.)
• Grocery shopping (cost price of groceries + 15% service charge)
• All-inclusive meal plan for food & beverages consumed in the villa
• House bar (cost price of bottles + 15% service charge)
