1st Scandinavian style villa with 8 bedrooms and 2nd Balinese style villa with 4 bedrooms. At your disposal is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, rooftop terrace, as well as a personal CHEF and 3 maids!
The space
The first villa has 8 bedrooms and is built in 2 levels, with a large pool-side terrace, balconies and a rooftop terrace. You can enjoy your own swimming pool & Jacuzzi as well as a screened, outdoor dining room – perfect for those tropical dinners with your family & friends.
The interior is kept in a contemporary Scandinavian style, i.e. simple and minimal decor with all white furniture, which gives the space a clean and modern feel.
All 8 bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, plenty of closet space, a flat-screen TV and air-conditioning – and can be set up with either a king bed or 2 twin beds. Most bedrooms have access to a balcony or to the terrace by the pool. 6 bedrooms are located in the main house and two bedrooms are located in a separate (2-level) guesthouse. The villa has 2 master bedrooms with a large terrace and views of the pool, lake and golf course.
The living- and dining room is the place to lounge and entertain. This space has a 60-inch flat-screen television with cable TV and large, roomy sofas where you can relax and feel at home. The formal dining room is set up with a large dining table which seats 16 persons comfortably. Or, if you want to dine more casually, you can choose to enjoy your meals outside on the screened-in patio, which seats 24 persons.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and designed for a real gourmet chef – which does come included in your villa rental! Your personal chef is ready to prepare all of your meals as requested and planned prior to your arrival, so you have less to worry about during your vacation (food and beverages are not included).
The villa also has a pool table and an office space with desk and 3 office chairs located upstairs in a small nook in the hallway between the bedrooms.
The second villa is a charming single-level villa, which makes it super convenient for multi-generational families and if you are traveling with children. You can enjoy a large garden oasis and a private swimming pool with a furnished palapa (an open-sided deck with a roof) island. This is the place to lounge, relax and soak up the sun in complete privacy.
The interior of the villa is kept in a tropical, Bali style with lots of rich wood and warm colors. The living room has beautiful, high vaulted ceilings, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, comfortable furniture, TV and direct access to the patio. The living room also connects with the indoor, formal dining room which seats 8 persons.
The large kitchen with cooking island is equipped with everything necessary to prepare your meals during your vacation. However, as you have a chef included with the first villa, you will most likely be enjoying all of your meals next door.
The second villa has 4 bedrooms, all with high vaulted ceilings, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV and closet. The master bedroom has a gorgeous king canopy bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. The 4th bedroom is the smallest (and coziest) bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a shower.
The outdoor area of the villa is probably where you will spend most of your time. The large patio has nice outdoor furniture with Bali-style sofas where you can relax in the shade and a dining table. From the patio, you have access to your private gym and also to the pool area and backyard. The outdoor dining area includes a kitchen with a unique, wood or charcoal-fired Argentinean grill with the oven. This casual dining area is covered and seats 12 people.

Villa staff
When you stay at these villas, you’ll have a personal chef and 3 maids included. Your chef will prepare all meals to be enjoyed at the first villa (food & beverages are not included) and the maids are there to clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens. The villa staff lives on the property in the adjacent staff quarters located behind the kitchen.
You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Our villa managers speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

We will be happy to help you book transportation from and to the airport, as well as excursions, shopping and other services. Cleaning and/or chef services can be provided for extra charge.

Once you book the Villa, our in-house concierge will be at your service to assist you in planning your stay from A to Z. You may choose these additional services at your convenience. All services are subject to availability and extra charges, i.e. they are not included in the villa rental price:
- Private airport transfers from Santo Domingo, La Romana and/or Punta Cana Airports
- Spa treatments or in-villa massages
- Golf tee time reservations with shared transportation

Neighborhood
Punta Cana is the “tourism capital” of the Dominican Republic. Located on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, this destination is most famous for its world-class beaches and championship golf courses. There are also plenty of fun excursions and activities available in the area. The Villa is located at Cocotal Golf & Country Club, a resort & residential area with gated entrance and 24-hour security.
Our Villa is located approx. 14 miles from Punta Cana International Airport (25-30-minute drive) at Cocotal Golf & Country Club in the heart of Bavaro, Punta Cana. The villa sits on a quiet cul-de-sac on hole #1 of the golf course, overlooking the lake and fairway of the golf course. The lake in front of the villa cannot be used for any water activities, such as swimming, boating, etc.
The villa is less than 100 yards walking distance from the golf clubhouse where you’ll find a common swimming pool area with kids’ pool, playground, exotic Bali beds, bar & restaurant, and paddle tennis courts ($).
You can easily walk just outside the main entrance of Cocotal Golf & Country Club to the nearby Palma Real Shopping Village, where you’ll find a variety of upscale shops, restaurants & bars, banks, pharmacy, etc.
The beautiful Bavaro Beach is close to the villa and when you stay at the Villa, you’ll have preferred access to the Jellyfish Beach Club & Restaurant located on Bavaro Beach. You’ll also be close to Los Corales, which is a lively area with lots of small restaurants, bars, a few shops and access to the Los Corales beach.

Getting around
If you’re staying in Punta Cana, you might not really need a rental car. However, should you feel the need to rent a car, please know that it is perfectly safe to drive around town on your own – just keep your eyes open and be prepared for anything in traffic! Normal traffic rules and laws do apply even though they are not always practiced by the locals!
If you prefer to have someone drive you to where you need to go, we can provide reliable and comfortable transportation in e.g. a minivan, small bus or luxury vehicle (e.g. Chevrolet Tahoe). Please ask your villa manager for more information, prices and availability.

This is my second time staying at this beautiful villa and everything was as great as the first time! Perfect for a large group and very comfortable. The manager, house staff and chef were friendly and the service was exceptional! We will definitely be back.

WOW! That is the best way to describe our experience and stay at the Cocotal Mansion. The pictures do not begin to do it justice. The views and the property itself is beyond beautiful, and the staff that comes with it is top of the line. We chose the Cocotal Mansion as the location for our Writing retreat for researchers, and we could not have been more pleased. The staff was so accommodating to our every request. The house manager literally took care of anything we asked, and went above and beyond our expectations. We were also lucky enough to have housekeepers and a chef, all of which were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location of the villas is perfectly placed with a very short distance to the airport, as well as a 5-7 min drive to the beach. The area the property is in is perfect, the golf course and resort is extremely well maintained and very safe. I can not recommend this property and well as the host, enough. We will absolutely be returning to Punta Cana, and when we do, we will be staying at the Cocotal Mansion! Highly Recommend!

Very nice house for a big group. Even though both houses(we knew that beforehand) didn’t connect, it still works. Pool areas are very nice and relaxing. Staff was excellent. From the booking, to maids, and the chef. I think the bathrooms could use some updates for the price point. But the house was clean!
