Brand New Contemporary Penthouse in Bavaro

Michaela is a wonderful host. Always available and a pleasure to deal with. I have now rented long term from Michaela and it has been a great experience.

Michaela was a welcoming and responsive host who provided a great overview of the area on our first day. The apartment looks just like the photos and was very comfortable. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The wifi network is one for the entire apartment complex, and is not very reliable but does work periodically.

Michaela is the property manager for the owner of the apartment. She was very helpful and responsive to our questions or any issues we had. We stayed in the apartment about 2 weeks. The apartment is brand new and in good condition, just like the pictures. We could walk or take the bus everywhere we needed to go and did not need a car. The apartment is about a 5 minute walk to the beach, but we preferred to walk a little further to Los Corrales, which was about a 10 minute walk. The biggest complaint we had was that the Internet service was very unreliable and would often cut out without allowing us to reconnect. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay. There is a neighboring hotel that played loud music a couple of nights, but we had earplugs, so it was not a big deal. There is a nice pool, but there was no shade provided because the umbrellas were broken. Maybe the complex will provide new ones which would make the pool area better for use in the heat of the day. There is also a roof terrace which was nice for looking at the stars at night.
