It was super helpful before we checked in, gave us wifi info/recommendations for places to eat. The staff were super accommodating, the place was really clean and modern. Felt safe in the apartment. The house is probably the prettiest in Cocotal golf club-it definitely stands out in comparison to the other homes! Villa Waterfall has a great pool and doors open from the sitting room to the pool. One downside are the couches which are a faux leather material in the case of water coming inside. Wasn’t the most “cozy” when wanting to lounge! The bedrooms are all the same with an open air bathroom and shower, in case someone is wanting privacy, this is not your house! We were fine with the setup. Our young children needed baths but no baths in the 4 rooms. Sobveh the house attendant was there daily from 9-6 and was wonderful! We loved her. She does all dishes, cleans, launders. She didn’t speak English so we spoke in Spanish to her. The house staff manager was helpful when we had a need arise—solved our minor issues. Overall we really liked the house and would recommend for families staying with older children.... Show all ↓

I have stayed at this property several times. The location is perfect with the beach, convenience store and restaurants. The cleaning crew, staff and owner is absolutely great. The rooms are always clean, and when something is needed the response and service is fast. I have never had to wait for the transportation as it has always been on time. Definitely recommended!... Just returned from a fab time at the occidental resort in Punta Cana the hotel is great rooms and surrounding areas of the resort were kept spotless had no probs with our room apart from having to wait for towels I guess is such a large resort housekeeping can become very busy. There were lots to do on the resort lots of activities for adults and children staff were helpful and friendly big thank you to Jose Matos and his staff at the buffet restaurant who helped to make my daughter’s special birthday enjoyable they decorated her room with birthday greetings and a cake thank you to other staff at the resort restaurants. A big thank you. The food was nice and plentiful lots of refreshments /cocktails available great choice of restaurants also the beach bar had a good selection of snacks I recommend the Dominican restaurant beach is nice also the pool areas enjoy night time entertainment and shows the Micheal Jackson show was spectacular. This was the best all inclusive holiday resort I ever stayed at I read the other reviews before I booked from the moment I arrived at the resort I could see that our stay would be enjoyable I have no negative comments on the staff and resort it’s the best so don’t be put off by some of the reviews.. We will be recommending also returning some time soon to the occidental resort. Hope you all have a enjoyable stay like us 👌... Show all ↓

Hard Rock punta Cana resort estuve en el mes de Mayo la pasamos muy bien, celebramos la bodas de mi hija muy buena atenciones un buen servicio y todas las habitaciones muy limpias y todos el hotel, en el restaurante muy buenas comidas especialmente el Toro restaurante y el Ciao restaurante, las atenciones de Orlando Herrera fueron excelente en esos dos restaurante que más visité. I can confidently say that our stay at the waterfall villa was an absolute delight. The beauty of the house made our stay even more enjoyable. The host and his team were very supportive and prompt in addressing any concerns we had during our stay. This place is a true gem. During our stay, we ate out twice and cooked at the house the rest of the time. There is some basic kitchenware available, but it’s a good idea to bring some additional supplies if needed. The property is quite spacious and perfect for a family mini-vacation. There are three rooms with two bathrooms on one side, and on the other side, across the living room, there is a fourth room with a bathroom, we did not use all of them (we were a group of 5) but it would be nice for a bigger company too. It was nice having AC in all the rooms, including the living room, as it could get a bit hot during the days. We really enjoyed the beach and shops around, there were beach chairs and umbrellas that we could use, which was nice. The beach is fantastic, although it can be quite wavy. We also appreciated having a pool to use after our beach time. The location is ideal, as it’s a short distance from downtown Punta Cana, we went to Coco Bongo night club and enjoyed the show, and on the other day went for a nice dinner at SBG restaurant (their pasta is to die for!). While Vasiliy was not present during our stay, the guys on site were really friendly and accommodating, and Vasiliy was always quick to respond to our messages.... Show all ↓

This place is what dreams are made of. The sea breeze flowing through kept it cool with out using the AC. Watching the sunrise over the water each day was a perfect way to start the day. The layout was perfect and recommendations were so helpful for food markets and other items we needed.

This apartment is immaculate! Larger than the pictures lead on, and the view over the beach is undersold! I stayed with 3 friends, or 4 total guests and we had plenty of space and our own private bathrooms. Top floor of the building with private roof & terrace make for a real presidential feel! I was stuck in the small elevator for about 15 min with 2 others, but FAIR Warning, only 2 people at a time, it’s a lot to take in during the walk through. I was surprised that someone, Nika, shows up to walk through the entire unit with us before we could begin our stay. But it’s a helpful measure. She also does a walk through before the end of your stay- and she is very thorough in her assessment. All in all, it’s a great stay and experience! I’d love to return and stay longer than the 1 night that I had there.

Great place to stay and get into the beach, you just open the door and the beatiful beach welcomes you every morning. Recomended 100% I only had problems cooking with the electric stove in the kitchen cause they only have one.

The host was the highlight of the trip. That and Losteria by the beach restaurant! The host was very helpful in making my partners birthday relaxing and fun, and Losteria was a once sometimes twice a day treat! Every driver we hired whether Uber or otherwise had a difficult time finding the house because the building does not appear in any of the phone Map apps. The sulfur smell from the water, the HUGE roaches, and the uncomfortable bed (imo) made the apartment a bit unpleasant at times but most of this is not in the host’s control. It was super close to the beach - I think I counted 42 steps! The beach access directly in front of the apartment had tons of seaweed but a few yards to the right is seaweed free! Overall I would recommend the apartment based on the responsive and helpful host and the proximity to the beach.
