This 6-bedroom Penthouse is located directly on the magnificent Bávaro Beach and within easy walking distance to supermarkets, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, bakeries, small shops, spa & salon, gym, etc. Los Corales is one of the best, most charming areas in Bavaro/PuntaCana where tourists can live like the locals do. Everything you need is literally right around the corner!

The space

LOCATION:

Palmera Penthouse is located in Los Corales, Bavaro, approx. 12 miles from Punta Cana Airport (25-minute drive). This is a great area to stay if you want to experience living like a local in Punta Cana!

There are several places (bakeries and small cafés) that serve breakfast and for lunch & dinner you will find lots of exciting options and some of the best restaurants in town, e.g. international restaurants, Italian, Mexican, Asian, Indian, burger joints, vegan, etc. If you want to hang out at the beach and enjoy a cool beach bar/lounge, Hurricane Café and Soles Chill Out Bar are just down the beach and definitely two places that you should check out. The local fruit & veggie truck comes around almost daily and you can get your fresh tropical fruits straight from the farms to take home and enjoy.

The area is generally quiet and safe to walk around in. This is also a great place for families with children to stay because everything is within easy walking distance.

And then, of course, there is the BEACH! The Penthouse is literally ON THE BEACH. You step out of the building and your feet are already in the sand…walk approx. 50 steps further and you’ll be on the beach itself. There’s a private beach area, which belongs to the condominium where the Penthouse is located, with sun beds and palm leaf umbrellas. The beach is yours for the taking! If you want to exercise, you can easily walk/run a 5K along the beach, go for a swim or do a little sunrise yoga/stretching to the sound of the waves. The early mornings are best for working out, before it gets too hot.

THE SPACE:

Palmera Penthouse is a 2-level condo located on the top 3rd and 4th levels of the building (there’s no elevator). There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the front door and another flight to get to the two of the six bedrooms and the rooftop terrace.

This is a 6-bedroom condo with 4 baths. Each bedroom has TV, plenty of closet space, air condition and ceiling fan. All bedrooms can be set up with two twin/single beds or one king bed.

The interior is kept in a contemporary Scandinavian style, i.e. simple and minimal decor with all white furniture, which gives the space a clean and modern feel.

DOWNSTAIRS:

On the first floor of the Penthouse you’ll find a big open space with living room, dining area (seats 12) and kitchen – fully air-conditioned and with a ceiling fan. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your meals during your vacation – or you can hire a chef to do the work for you! There are also plenty of nearby restaurants to explore if you prefer to get a taste of the local cuisine and just have breakfast and/or lunch “at home”.

The living room has 3 comfortable sofas and a large flat screen TV with cable TV, books, magazines and WIFI (the WIFI signal works best in the living room and may not reach all of the bedrooms). On this floor there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

UPSTAIRS:

A stairway leads to the second floor, where there are 2 bedrooms and one Jack & Jill (shared) bathroom. The upstairs level is also where you’ll find the large rooftop terrace. One bedroom has direct access to the rooftop terrace.

The rooftop terrace is the heart of the house! This area has been created as a green garden with artificial grass, plants, two big sun beds, dining table (seats 12) and a gas BBQ grill.

From here, you have a view of the ocean! This is definitely the place where you want to hang out in the evenings, listen to music, have drinks, enjoy good food and share the good times with your family & friends.

VILLA STAFF:

When you stay at Palmera Penthouse, you’ll have a maid included. The maid comes by daily to clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens.

You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Our villa managers speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

PRE-ARRIVAL CONCIERGE SERVICES:

Once you book the Palmera Penthouse, our in-house concierge will be at your service to assist you in planning your stay from A to Z. You may choose these additional services at your convenience (all services are subject to availability and extra charges, i.e. they are not included in the rental price):

• Private airport transfers from Santo Domingo, La Romana and/or Punta Cana Airports
• Rental cars and other transportation
• Spa treatments at Six Senses Spa or In-villa spa services
• Golf tee time reservations w/ transportation
