• Our journey begins with transportation on open safari trucks from any location in the Bavaro-Punta Cana area as we head west towards Monkeyland. An experienced guide and driver will be at your service to enhance your overall enjoyment of the trip.
• En route, we’ll make a stop at a typical country house where you’ll gain insights into local life and organic product cultivation. You’ll also have the chance to see coffee and cacao plantations!
• The highlight of the tour is our visit to the gorgeous botanical garden, adorned with exotic and beautiful flowers and plants. Guided by an experienced guide, you’ll have a delightful encounter with wonderful creatures – the squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus)! These 5 acres of picturesque territory, offering spectacular mountain views, have become the monkeys’ home.
• When you enter the reserve area, you get a plate of yummy treats that monkeys love. This ensures they’ll be all around you, above and below, at least until you run out of treats!
• These adorable animals are fully accustomed to life in a human environment. At Monkeyland, you can observe them, invite them onto your shoulders to feed them, and capture fantastic photos with these amazing creatures. The monkeys are happy to pose, helping you create unforgettable moments.

These fascinating and intelligent animals were trained by a Canadian couple with 35 years of experience working with animals. They taught the monkeys to trust and truly enjoy interacting with people.

Our adventure begins with transportation on open safari trucks from any location in the Bavaro-Punta Cana area, guided by an experienced guide and driver, ensuring an enjoyable journey to Monkeyland.

Country House & Plantation

During the journey, we'll pause at a traditional country house, offering insights into local life and organic product cultivation. Explore coffee and cacao plantations for a unique experience!

Monkeyland & Botanical Garden

Visit to a stunning botanical garden, featuring exotic flowers and plants. Led by an experienced guide, you'll delight in an encounter with charming squirrel monkeys! This 5-acre picturesque territory, with breathtaking mountain views, is now their home.

Squirrel Monkey Interaction Experience

Meet these cute monkeys at Monkeyland — they're like playful acrobats in the trees! Watch them, share a snack on your shoulder, and snap some cool photos. These monkeys are super friendly and love to strike a pose for your pictures. At the entrance to the reserve zone, each guest is given a plate of the monkeys' favorite treats, ensuring their attention is guaranteed (at least until your goodies run out).

Be cautious – monkeys are attracted to bright, sparkly, and interesting things, so be mindful of your belongings during the tour.

• Duration: around 5 hours
• Approximate pick-up time: 7:00 AM / 1:00 PM depending on your hotel location. Please be ready at the hotel lobby 10 – 15 minutes prior the confirmed time
• What to bring: light and comfortable clothing, cap, sunglasses, water, camera and extra cash for souvenirs

Special rules and notes at Monkeyland

• Children must be accompanied by an adult during the tour.
• Pregnant women cannot take part in this tour.
• For the well-being of our participants, individuals with heart conditions, disability and/or mobility concerns, and those with back problems are advised not to participate in this tour.
• The monkeys eat peanuts, so if anyone has a serious allergy, it’s better not to participate in the tour.
• People with a cold or flu cannot take part in this tour.
• Please inform our representative in advance if you have any health restrictions or contraindications.
• Do not feed the monkeys anything other than the provided food.
• During the tour, hold onto your cameras and valuables tightly! We wouldn’t want the monkeys to mistake your personal items for their new treasures.
