It was super helpful before we checked in, gave us wifi info/recommendations for places to eat. The staff were super accommodating, the place was really clean and modern. Felt safe in the apartment. The house is probably the prettiest in Cocotal golf club-it definitely stands out in comparison to the other homes! Villa Waterfall has a great pool and doors open from the sitting room to the pool. One downside are the couches which are a faux leather material in the case of water coming inside. Wasn’t the most “cozy” when wanting to lounge! The bedrooms are all the same with an open air bathroom and shower, in case someone is wanting privacy, this is not your house! We were fine with the setup. Our young children needed baths but no baths in the 4 rooms. Sobveh the house attendant was there daily from 9-6 and was wonderful! We loved her. She does all dishes, cleans, launders. She didn’t speak English so we spoke in Spanish to her. The house staff manager was helpful when we had a need arise—solved our minor issues. Overall we really liked the house and would recommend for families staying with older children.... Show all ↓

I have stayed at this property several times. The location is perfect with the beach, convenience store and restaurants. The cleaning crew, staff and owner is absolutely great. The rooms are always clean, and when something is needed the response and service is fast. I have never had to wait for the transportation as it has always been on time. Definitely recommended!... Just returned from a fab time at the occidental resort in Punta Cana the hotel is great rooms and surrounding areas of the resort were kept spotless had no probs with our room apart from having to wait for towels I guess is such a large resort housekeeping can become very busy. There were lots to do on the resort lots of activities for adults and children staff were helpful and friendly big thank you to Jose Matos and his staff at the buffet restaurant who helped to make my daughter’s special birthday enjoyable they decorated her room with birthday greetings and a cake thank you to other staff at the resort restaurants. A big thank you. The food was nice and plentiful lots of refreshments /cocktails available great choice of restaurants also the beach bar had a good selection of snacks I recommend the Dominican restaurant beach is nice also the pool areas enjoy night time entertainment and shows the Micheal Jackson show was spectacular. This was the best all inclusive holiday resort I ever stayed at I read the other reviews before I booked from the moment I arrived at the resort I could see that our stay would be enjoyable I have no negative comments on the staff and resort it’s the best so don’t be put off by some of the reviews.. We will be recommending also returning some time soon to the occidental resort. Hope you all have a enjoyable stay like us 👌... Show all ↓

Hard Rock punta Cana resort estuve en el mes de Mayo la pasamos muy bien, celebramos la bodas de mi hija muy buena atenciones un buen servicio y todas las habitaciones muy limpias y todos el hotel, en el restaurante muy buenas comidas especialmente el Toro restaurante y el Ciao restaurante, las atenciones de Orlando Herrera fueron excelente en esos dos restaurante que más visité. I can confidently say that our stay at the waterfall villa was an absolute delight. The beauty of the house made our stay even more enjoyable. The host and his team were very supportive and prompt in addressing any concerns we had during our stay. This place is a true gem. During our stay, we ate out twice and cooked at the house the rest of the time. There is some basic kitchenware available, but it’s a good idea to bring some additional supplies if needed. The property is quite spacious and perfect for a family mini-vacation. There are three rooms with two bathrooms on one side, and on the other side, across the living room, there is a fourth room with a bathroom, we did not use all of them (we were a group of 5) but it would be nice for a bigger company too. It was nice having AC in all the rooms, including the living room, as it could get a bit hot during the days. We really enjoyed the beach and shops around, there were beach chairs and umbrellas that we could use, which was nice. The beach is fantastic, although it can be quite wavy. We also appreciated having a pool to use after our beach time. The location is ideal, as it’s a short distance from downtown Punta Cana, we went to Coco Bongo night club and enjoyed the show, and on the other day went for a nice dinner at SBG restaurant (their pasta is to die for!). While Vasiliy was not present during our stay, the guys on site were really friendly and accommodating, and Vasiliy was always quick to respond to our messages.... Show all ↓

Excelente anfitrión Vasily y todo su equipo!! Tuvimos una estadía espectacular en todos los aspectos. El lugar es maravilloso con vistas únicas al océano y la casa es espectacular además de muy amplia y cómoda! Estuvieron todo el tiempo cuidando cada detalle y nos facilitaron y organizaron excursiones increíbles, incluso una en yate privado a Isla Catalina que es un verdadero paraíso! Estamos muy agradecidos y esperamos volver pronto!

I feel compelled to share this review because the type of service rendered from the moment I selected this property has been like no other. Reliable, promptness to anything I did not understand. Any services I requested were not problem " done". I have a return date mid to late august. You know where I will be staying!

The home was less than a football field from the water. Shops, markets, restaurants as well as scooter, car and atv rentals all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Area was very safe and secure.

I really enjoyed staying at the unit, and it's was very close to everything. The view from the rooftop was amazing overlooking the beach. I definitely will be back and recommend this spot . Great price value .

Pros - Great view! Specially during sunset time. Literally right on the beach! Pictures were pretty accurate. While the property doesn't have a pool, there is a very nice public pool by the spa 2min walk away. Just buy a drink. Also there are a few small restaurants about 2-3min walks. Host was very nice and accommodating, and is available for any issues pretty much whenever you need him. Designated and gated parking if you rented a car. Security guards pretty much all over... you'll feel very safe if you're out walking at night. Cons - property is on the 4th floor, so lots of stairs. The way the stairs are set up can be very dangerous for children, I would not recommend this place for a family with kids. Cost of electricity is more like $15-$20 per day and not $2-$10. That's with only using the AC while we slept. Overall - I would recommend this place for sure for couples. You will get amazing pictures at sunset from the rooftop lounge area.

Vasiliy and his associate Laima were great hosts, very attentive to all our needs during our stay in Punta Cana. This was our first experience with airbnb, and I must say it was great. The property was very clean, and the windows faced a golf course. Security at the place was great and the place was very quite at night. Laima sat with us and offered us all the trip/tour possibilities. She was a great person to have as a resource if you want to get out of Punta Cana. I recommend that you rent a car if you are selecting this property, which will allow you greater mobility. In less than 5 minutes you can be at the beach. We used the beach in front of the restaurants Mar Caribe and Jellyfish, and you can order a few drinks and enjoy the beach lounges and umbrellas. Punta Cana resorts can be very loud, and we as a family ( 2 adults and a son in his early 20s) were looking at a quiet place. I highly recommend Vasiliy as a host if you want to visit Punta Cana. He and Laima will provide you with a very pleasant experience ( a 10-star rating for both).

Vasiliy was a great Host, always replied quickly to any questions we had. He did an amazing job w helping us plan our excursions. Our stay at his place was nice, unfortunately our electricity went out for a day but those kind of issues happen in the DR, Vasiliy and his team did their best at fixing the problem but it did make for a sleepless night due to how hot and humid it was during the night time. Our electricity bill did come out to $100 dollars, for 7 days. Wifi was down for a couple of days during our stay. Overall the stay was nice, w a couple of small hiccups (wifi & power outage) Location is spot on, 10 steps from the beach with bars around. I recommend taking a taxi to downtown punta Cana, everything is cheaper and the food is better, other than the Italian pizza spot and ice cream/breakfast place the other restaurants are 1 star to say the least. Punta Cana is not as cheap as I thought... same as American prices for food and drinks, if you want better deals go to downtown.
