Stylish 2BR Penthouse Near the Ocean

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we decided to book the apartment again after we came back to Punta Cana after a few day visit to Santo Domingo :) My other review is equally true for our second stay.

Nicely furnished and comfortable apartment, matches the pictures well. It is quiet when sleeping and the property is very safe as it is private and there's guard presence at all times. Location is good, very close the beach and about 10min walk from the plaza where most of the the restaurants and shops are. Theres also a minimarket and a couple good restaurants right across the street from the property. The pool area on the yard and the private rooftop area were really nice, although the BBQ has seen better days and is in need of a replacement. You can reserve the BBQ area next to the pool though. As far as the host goes, Michaela is probably the best one I've had. Very nice and quick to respond. She helped us with just about anything we needed.

It’s a really modern and well furnished apartment.

We were staying in unit D-5, the complex has several units. The walk to the beach is a short one - about 5 minutes and once there you can walk for hours along the different resorts. We didn’t rent a car as we just used taxis or walk to the nearby stores. We also used the services of someone recommended by our host. Michaela was not available to greet us personally but made sure that her partner Peter was there. Outstanding welcome, local tips and a short tour of the surroundings. The apartment allows 4 persons to sleep comfortably but I would not recommend it for 6. The BBQ needs to be replaced and a few extra plates, one additional cutlery set would be handy but otherwise the apartment is adequately furnished. There is a basketball court in the adjacent property and on two occasions a group of 4 people played until 2:30 am. Presumably if you sleep with AC you wouldn’t notice the noise. The kids had a lot of fun in the swimming pool which was never too crowded. Great and safe place overall.

Overall appearance of the unit (inside and outside) was good. The unit location is convenient and relatively close to shops, restaurants, bars, and casino. The host was very nice, helpful and responsive.

Had a great time . Pool was fantastic. It was close enough to the beach . Close to a bus to take me everywhere. Markets every where . Restaurents everywhere . Really appreciated having a washer & dryer in the unit. Honestly one of the least expencive , most enjoyable vacations I have been on so far .

We has a enjoyable time in this appartment! Clean, well equipped, bottled drinking water... exactly as shown on the photos on-line! Good location: 15 min walking to the beach, nice restaurants and bars. The hostess was very responsible, helpful and friendly. We would recommend it to anyone for family vacations.
