LOCATION:

Villa Las Cañas 22 is located at the exclusive Casa de Campo Resort with easy access to all of Casa de Campo’s unique amenities, including Minitas Beach, the resort hotel, the shops and restaurants of the marina, golf courses, tennis courts and the beautifully-styled village of Altos de Chavon.

Casa de Campo Resort is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

Since it opened in La Romana almost 50 years ago as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities from all over the world. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean.

This incredible 7000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with swimming pool at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th century replica Mediterranean village.

Casa de Campo has its very own airport, located just five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located approx. 45-minutes’ drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away.

When you stay at Villa Las Cañas 22, you’ll have a golf touring cart included in the villa rental, which you can use for easy and convenient transportation inside Casa de Campo Resort, e.g. to go to the beach, marina, golf courses, etc.

THE SPACE:

Villa Las Cañas 22 is a 7000 sq. ft. single-level villa, which makes is very convenient for multi-generational families. The villa has a backyard with a great lawn and is surrounded by a lush, tropical trees. This is your private playground! There is easily enough space for you to host a private event or an intimate destination wedding.

The outdoor area with swimming pool and Jacuzzi is undoubtedly the main feature of the villa. This is where you will spend most of your time – swimming and playing in the pool and lounging on the open deck next to the pool or underneath the covered pool deck – if you prefer some shade from the sun. There is also an outdoor dining table and sofa sitting area where you can hang out with your friends and family and enjoy cocktails and casual lunches.

The villa was recently completely renovated and designed in a modern, Caribbean style with lots of attention to detail. The villa offers a great space with modern furniture and beautiful artwork. The villa has 5 amazing bedrooms and is perfect for large families and friends who want to spend good, quality time together. This is definitely a place that will make you feel welcome and relaxed.

DOWNSTAIRS:

Villa Las Cañas 22 only has one floor so it is perfect for families with children and grandparents as there are no stairs to climb.

The villa has 5 spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom is a large suite with high vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan and air condition. This spacious suite has a king bed, TV, closet & dresser, a large ensuite bathroom with shower and double vanity. The master bathroom has a private terrace, which may work as the ideal meditation space if you need a little time just to yourself. From the master bedroom you can step out onto your own terrace, which has a nice sitting area and direct access to the pool area.

The remaining 4 bedrooms are all very comfortable. Each bedroom has 2 queen beds, ceiling fan, air condition, TV, closet and dresser, and ensuite bathroom with shower.

The formal indoor dining table seats 12 people comfortably and has high vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans – or if you prefer to feel the Caribbean breeze, you can slide open the big windows and let the air flow in. There is also a small terrace adjacent to the dining room.
The spacious living room has an impressive, high vaulted ceiling with ceiling fans and offers a very relaxing space with roomy and comfortable sofas where you can entertain with your family & friends and watch TV. From the living room you have direct access to the pool area through big, sliding doors.

Step directly out onto the terrace by the swimming pool which has an outdoor dining table. This is a great place to enjoy your breakfast and casual lunches by the pool. On the other side of the pool you have a gazebo with sofas and ceiling fans to keep the air moving so that you will always feel comfortable in this outdoor space.

The kitchen with island is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals throughout your vacation – and your villa rental includes a cook who will make your meals at the villa (food and beverages are not included). Please note that the cook only has basic cooking skills so if you wish to hire a professional chef, you have that option as well ($).

CASA DE CAMPO RESORT FEE:

The villa rental does not include the mandatory Casa de Campo Resort fee, which must be paid on arrival at the resort:

• Adults over 12 years old: US$ 25 per person per night
• Kids from 4-12 years old: US$ 12 per person per night
• Kids under 4 years old: FREE

The Resort Fee gives you access to the facilities and amenities of Casa de Campo Resort, including 3 Pete Dye golf courses*, fitness center, tennis courts, restaurants & bars ($), use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool by the main hotel area & Minitas Beach, Altos de Chavon ($) and more. Food & beverages must be paid directly to the bar/restaurant and is never included in your villa rental ($). All sports activities and facilities have an additional fee and facilities may be closed on certain days for private events, maintenance, etc. ($) *Guests do not have access to La Romana Country Club (private, members only golf course).

VILLA STAFF:

When you stay at Villa Las Cañas 22, you’ll have a cook and a maid included daily from 8 AM until 4 PM. Extra hours available for a surcharge up to 10:30pm = USD 60 per day for the 2 persons incl. cook. Your cook will prepare your meals to be enjoyed at the villa (food & beverages are not included). The maid will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens.

You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Our villa managers speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay.

PRE-ARRIVAL CONCIERGE SERVICES:

Once you book Villa Las Cañas 22, our in-house concierge will be at your service to assist you in planning your stay from A to Z. You may choose these additional services at your convenience. All services are subject to availability and extra charges, i.e. they are not included in the villa rental price:

• Private airport transfers from Santo Domingo, La Romana and/or Punta Cana Airports
• Rental cars and other transportation
• Golf cart rental (for convenient transportation inside the resort; not for use on the golf courses)
• Spa treatments or in-villa massages
• Golf tee time reservations with shared transportation
• Excursions (catamaran, deep sea fishing, ATVs, zip lines, etc.)
• Grocery shopping (cost price of groceries + 15% service charge)
• All-inclusive meal plan for food & beverages consumed in the villa
• House bar (cost price of bottles + 15% service charge)
