It was super helpful before we checked in, gave us wifi info/recommendations for places to eat. The staff were super accommodating, the place was really clean and modern. Felt safe in the apartment. The house is probably the prettiest in Cocotal golf club-it definitely stands out in comparison to the other homes! Villa Waterfall has a great pool and doors open from the sitting room to the pool. One downside are the couches which are a faux leather material in the case of water coming inside. Wasn’t the most “cozy” when wanting to lounge! The bedrooms are all the same with an open air bathroom and shower, in case someone is wanting privacy, this is not your house! We were fine with the setup. Our young children needed baths but no baths in the 4 rooms. Sobveh the house attendant was there daily from 9-6 and was wonderful! We loved her. She does all dishes, cleans, launders. She didn’t speak English so we spoke in Spanish to her. The house staff manager was helpful when we had a need arise—solved our minor issues. Overall we really liked the house and would recommend for families staying with older children.... Show all ↓

I have stayed at this property several times. The location is perfect with the beach, convenience store and restaurants. The cleaning crew, staff and owner is absolutely great. The rooms are always clean, and when something is needed the response and service is fast. I have never had to wait for the transportation as it has always been on time. Definitely recommended!... Just returned from a fab time at the occidental resort in Punta Cana the hotel is great rooms and surrounding areas of the resort were kept spotless had no probs with our room apart from having to wait for towels I guess is such a large resort housekeeping can become very busy. There were lots to do on the resort lots of activities for adults and children staff were helpful and friendly big thank you to Jose Matos and his staff at the buffet restaurant who helped to make my daughter’s special birthday enjoyable they decorated her room with birthday greetings and a cake thank you to other staff at the resort restaurants. A big thank you. The food was nice and plentiful lots of refreshments /cocktails available great choice of restaurants also the beach bar had a good selection of snacks I recommend the Dominican restaurant beach is nice also the pool areas enjoy night time entertainment and shows the Micheal Jackson show was spectacular. This was the best all inclusive holiday resort I ever stayed at I read the other reviews before I booked from the moment I arrived at the resort I could see that our stay would be enjoyable I have no negative comments on the staff and resort it’s the best so don’t be put off by some of the reviews.. We will be recommending also returning some time soon to the occidental resort. Hope you all have a enjoyable stay like us 👌... Show all ↓

I can confidently say that our stay at the waterfall villa was an absolute delight. The beauty of the house made our stay even more enjoyable. The host and his team were very supportive and prompt in addressing any concerns we had during our stay. This place is a true gem. During our stay, we ate out twice and cooked at the house the rest of the time. There is some basic kitchenware available, but it’s a good idea to bring some additional supplies if needed. The property is quite spacious and perfect for a family mini-vacation. There are three rooms with two bathrooms on one side, and on the other side, across the living room, there is a fourth room with a bathroom, we did not use all of them (we were a group of 5) but it would be nice for a bigger company too. It was nice having AC in all the rooms, including the living room, as it could get a bit hot during the days. We really enjoyed the beach and shops around, there were beach chairs and umbrellas that we could use, which was nice. The beach is fantastic, although it can be quite wavy. We also appreciated having a pool to use after our beach time. The location is ideal, as it’s a short distance from downtown Punta Cana, we went to Coco Bongo night club and enjoyed the show, and on the other day went for a nice dinner at SBG restaurant (their pasta is to die for!). While Vasiliy was not present during our stay, the guys on site were really friendly and accommodating, and Vasiliy was always quick to respond to our messages.... Show all ↓

The positive side: The home was beautiful and just minutes of walking distance to the beach. The separate room was nice having it upstairs. The down side: the outlets didn't seem to work well for me. I'd plug in my charger from the US and it wouldn't ever charge it passed 10% throughout the whole night. I tried all outlets. Extra charge for electricity. There is an extra fee for electricity for those who don't look at house rules. My mom, baby, and I left the gated community and walked 2 blocks to the restaurants and on our way back my mom got her purse snatched from her. I don't recommend to be out after dark.

My party and myself enjoyed our stay at Vasiliy's place. Loved how close it was to the beach and to the markets and restaurants. Vasiliy was very helpful with making plans for activities and excursions, which took the stress off of who's the best or who to trust. House was clean and very spacious. Any questions or issues that came up Vasiliy responded right away and was happy to help.

Great apartment in a great location. The beach is literally right outside the door of the apartment, and the property is in a mostly quiet and residential area. The area is generally safe and secure with a number of nearby restaurants and shops (I highly recommend the popsicle restaurant and pizza restaurant which are within a few minutes walking distance). The apartment was a perfect size for my wife and I and two small children. The apartment was also nicely decorated and furnished and generally matched the appearance of the online photos, with the exception that everything appears to be in brand-new condition on the photos; whereas the actual condition of the apartment and furniture shows more wear and tear, but it is still a very nice apartment. Vasiliy and his staff were also very nice and helpful, and highly accessible. Vasiliy also offered to help with any booking of transportation, excursions, etc. I would definitely stay again!

Nadia's place is as described. The staff was very accommodating and rendered good hospitality. Breakfast was brought to our room each morning which consisted of toast, fruit, coffee, and juice. Room was cleaned daily. The staff was also very helpful with booking excursions and directing us to the local hang out spots. The neighborhood very walkable and safe and a great departure from the resort experience. Just prior to my trip I read a recent review regarding the odor with the water in the shower. I was hoping it had been resolved/ addressed per Nadia's response to the poster. Unfortunately I was not spared this experience. Clearly it was tolerable but would definitely preferred it not be a part of my experience/ stay. Otherwise everything was great!

Vasiliy and his team were great hosts for our 1 night stay. They helped arrange transportation from the airport to the airbnb for our arrival and for our departure to a nearby resort. Recommendations were also provided on things to do around Punta Cana and Vasiliy provided details for his own agency that helps coordinate expeditions and other fun things. All in all, a fun 1 night stay in a nice condo with tons of space.
