The house is probably the prettiest in Cocotal golf club-it definitely stands out in comparison to the other homes! Villa Waterfall has a great pool and doors open from the sitting room to the pool. One downside are the couches which are a faux leather material in the case of water coming inside. Wasn’t the most “cozy” when wanting to lounge! The bedrooms are all the same with an open air bathroom and shower, in case someone is wanting privacy, this is not your house! We were fine with the setup. Our young children needed baths but no baths in the 4 rooms. Sobveh the house attendant was there daily from 9-6 and was wonderful! We loved her. She does all dishes, cleans, launders. She didn’t speak English so we spoke in Spanish to her. The house staff manager was helpful when we had a need arise—solved our minor issues. Overall we really liked the house and would recommend for families staying with older children.... Show all ↓

I have stayed at this property several times. The location is perfect with the beach, convenience store and restaurants. The cleaning crew, staff and owner is absolutely great. The rooms are always clean, and when something is needed the response and service is fast. I have never had to wait for the transportation as it has always been on time. Definitely recommended!... Just returned from a fab time at the occidental resort in Punta Cana the hotel is great rooms and surrounding areas of the resort were kept spotless had no probs with our room apart from having to wait for towels I guess is such a large resort housekeeping can become very busy. There were lots to do on the resort lots of activities for adults and children staff were helpful and friendly big thank you to Jose Matos and his staff at the buffet restaurant who helped to make my daughter’s special birthday enjoyable they decorated her room with birthday greetings and a cake thank you to other staff at the resort restaurants. A big thank you. The food was nice and plentiful lots of refreshments /cocktails available great choice of restaurants also the beach bar had a good selection of snacks I recommend the Dominican restaurant beach is nice also the pool areas enjoy night time entertainment and shows the Micheal Jackson show was spectacular. This was the best all inclusive holiday resort I ever stayed at I read the other reviews before I booked from the moment I arrived at the resort I could see that our stay would be enjoyable I have no negative comments on the staff and resort it’s the best so don’t be put off by some of the reviews.. We will be recommending also returning some time soon to the occidental resort. Hope you all have a enjoyable stay like us 👌... Show all ↓

Hard Rock punta Cana resort estuve en el mes de Mayo la pasamos muy bien, celebramos la bodas de mi hija muy buena atenciones un buen servicio y todas las habitaciones muy limpias y todos el hotel, en el restaurante muy buenas comidas especialmente el Toro restaurante y el Ciao restaurante, las atenciones de Orlando Herrera fueron excelente en esos dos restaurante que más visité. This place is a true gem. During our stay, we ate out twice and cooked at the house the rest of the time. There is some basic kitchenware available, but it’s a good idea to bring some additional supplies if needed. The property is quite spacious and perfect for a family mini-vacation. There are three rooms with two bathrooms on one side, and on the other side, across the living room, there is a fourth room with a bathroom, we did not use all of them (we were a group of 5) but it would be nice for a bigger company too. It was nice having AC in all the rooms, including the living room, as it could get a bit hot during the days. We really enjoyed the beach and shops around, there were beach chairs and umbrellas that we could use, which was nice. The beach is fantastic, although it can be quite wavy. We also appreciated having a pool to use after our beach time. The location is ideal, as it’s a short distance from downtown Punta Cana, we went to Coco Bongo night club and enjoyed the show, and on the other day went for a nice dinner at SBG restaurant (their pasta is to die for!). While Vasiliy was not present during our stay, the guys on site were really friendly and accommodating, and Vasiliy was always quick to respond to our messages.... Show all ↓

Vasiliy’s place is EXACTLY as pictured, absolutely stunning! This was my first trip to Punta Cana and it was amazing! The location is perfect as it’s not too far from the airport and not too far from activities. Our host made Checkin/checkout a breeze and was super helpful when referring us to places to eat and local activities. I plan on returning to Punta Cana later this year and definitely plan to stay at Vasiliy’s again. You won’t regret booking this place.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Punta Cana, look no further. Vasiliy's apartment is perfect for anyone who's looking to feel submerged in the culture while still getting the resort hospitality. At this house, you're with in walking distance to tons of DELICIOUS restaurants, the beach, and some markets in case you want to do your own cooking. Vasiliy and his staff are available to you any time you need them and they will look out for you completely. 10 out of 10, I would stay there again for sure!

We had a wonderful 2-day stay here. The home is in a gated community that felt safe and had security present. There were restaurants and shops within walking distance, some even within the gated complex. When we left the complex to walk to local restaurants and shops we remained aware of our surroundings, but never felt unsafe. As a vegan, this ended up being the perfect location to stay in Punta Cana as there were several vegan dining options (including a completely vegan restaurant) within close walking distance (Ama Luna, Joy's Nutritional Popsicles, and Wacamole). The home was well maintained, comfortable and attractive, and had good amenities. Safe drinking water is provided in a water dispenser. The rooftop deck is spacious and a great place to hang-out. Some things to be aware of are that you are not in a resort and so you should be comfortable with things like the fact that you can't flush your toilet paper, neighbors may be noisy (during our stay tourists renting the large house across from us had hired a DJ who played music at a high volume from about noon until 1am each day. It made relaxation on the rooftop deck difficult, but when we closed the door to the bedroom we couldn't hear the music), and people will try to sell you things on the beach and when you walk around town. The apartment is up several flights of stairs with no elevator access, so people with mobility issues should keep that in mind. Also, if you have small children there is a stairwell within the apartment that doesn't have a railing. The beach is right there and lounge chairs and shade umbrellas are included. You will find a lot of sea grass/ sea weed on the beach and in the water, but my understanding is that this is the case on all Dominican beaches unless staying in a resort where they remove it daily. At the end of your stay, you pay for your electricity use. We paid $15 for our 2-days. We used air conditioning when we were in in the apartment and it seemed like a reasonable fee. Anna met us at the apartment for check-in and check-out. She was friendly, gave us a lot of helpful information and recommendations, arranged transportation for us for check-out, and made sure that we knew how to contact her if any issues arose during our stay. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the opportunity to stay outside of a resort for a portion of our trip. We would highly recommend this place, just make sure that you are realistically prepared and not expecting a resort and/or American infrastructure and plumbing.

This place was amazing for the value ! I can not give it enough 5 stars. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming . Roman picked us up from the airport and his wife checked us in at the hotel. Nadia was in touch quickly and made all the arrangements for the taxi pickup . The pictures are as described and the room has everything you should need. You honestly won't find a better deal. We had breakfast each day included in the meal as well . I would definitely come back and stay here again !!
