It was super helpful before we checked in, gave us wifi info/recommendations for places to eat. The staff were super accommodating, the place was really clean and modern. Felt safe in the apartment. Beautiful location and amazing views. The property itself was fantastic. However, I would like to point out some of the issues we encountered. It was difficult to access the property with the double gates. This made it difficult to greet guests and to go in and out. The other issue was noise level until 4am with a club adjacent to the home and the other tenants on the floors below. Other than that, this place is one of a kind. A true gem.... Show all ↓

The house is probably the prettiest in Cocotal golf club-it definitely stands out in comparison to the other homes! Villa Waterfall has a great pool and doors open from the sitting room to the pool. One downside are the couches which are a faux leather material in the case of water coming inside. Wasn’t the most “cozy” when wanting to lounge! The bedrooms are all the same with an open air bathroom and shower, in case someone is wanting privacy, this is not your house! We were fine with the setup. Our young children needed baths but no baths in the 4 rooms. Sobveh the house attendant was there daily from 9-6 and was wonderful! We loved her. She does all dishes, cleans, launders. She didn’t speak English so we spoke in Spanish to her. The house staff manager was helpful when we had a need arise—solved our minor issues. Overall we really liked the house and would recommend for families staying with older children.... Show all ↓
Mark USI have stayed at this property several times. The location is perfect with the beach, convenience store and restaurants. The cleaning crew, staff and owner is absolutely great. The rooms are always clean, and when something is needed the response and service is fast. I have never had to wait for the transportation as it has always been on time. Definitely recommended!... Cec GBJust returned from a fab time at the occidental resort in Punta Cana the hotel is great rooms and surrounding areas of the resort were kept spotless had no probs with our room apart from having to wait for towels I guess is such a large resort housekeeping can become very busy. There were lots to do on the resort lots of activities for adults and children staff were helpful and friendly big thank you to Jose Matos and his staff at the buffet restaurant who helped to make my daughter’s special birthday enjoyable they decorated her room with birthday greetings and a cake thank you to other staff at the resort restaurants. A big thank you. The food was nice and plentiful lots of refreshments /cocktails available great choice of restaurants also the beach bar had a good selection of snacks I recommend the Dominican restaurant beach is nice also the pool areas enjoy night time entertainment and shows the Micheal Jackson show was spectacular. This was the best all inclusive holiday resort I ever stayed at I read the other reviews before I booked from the moment I arrived at the resort I could see that our stay would be enjoyable I have no negative comments on the staff and resort it’s the best so don’t be put off by some of the reviews.. We will be recommending also returning some time soon to the occidental resort. Hope you all have a enjoyable stay like us 👌... Show all ↓

Hard Rock punta Cana resort estuve en el mes de Mayo la pasamos muy bien, celebramos la bodas de mi hija muy buena atenciones un buen servicio y todas las habitaciones muy limpias y todos el hotel, en el restaurante muy buenas comidas especialmente el Toro restaurante y el Ciao restaurante, las atenciones de Orlando Herrera fueron excelente en esos dos restaurante que más visité. When I travel, the most I concern myself with is safety, trust. And clean facilities . This company goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their guest and my 10 day stay was perfect. The owner is as honest as they come. I even sent him money by a mistake once I was back home and yes he kindly sent it back with no issues. I can confidently say that our stay at the waterfall villa was an absolute delight. The beauty of the house made our stay even more enjoyable. The host and his team were very supportive and prompt in addressing any concerns we had during our stay. Vasiliy has been a great host, no doubt! I was initially skeptical about staying in an apartment, and not choosing to stay in a resort, specially with water, mosquito concern. Also as me and my family don't speak Espaniol, I had concerns about communicating with people, and get things done. Vasiliy helped us in every step, was present personally to help us when needed. His apartment is in excellent condition, and matched everything according to description, pics! No mosquito at all, free of charge 24/7 drinking water supply... He responded to texts within minutes if not immediately, even when we needed drinking water at 9 pm. He has 2 excellent managers who are competent, fast to resolve issues. I could write a long essay, but in short, my family was able to enjoy the 4 day stay in a way which we couldn't if we stayed in a resort! We could experience local people and their life to some extent. The place is safe. And we strongly felt it was only possible for the excellent service with personal touch from Vasiliy and his team! I strongly recommend his place to adventurous tourists, and wish Vasiliy all the best!

Over the years, I've stayed in a lot of different places. This experience, for me, is most definitely in the Top Five! Upon making the reservation Vasily was very professional and responded back via email and text right away to our reservation. Couple of days before our reservation Vasily texted me to make sure we had all the information and to ask if we needed transportation from the airport to the apartment. The morning of our reservation he contacted me again to find out if we were on our way and about what time our arrival would be. He suggested once we arrived to meet him at the apartment to go over some details. Vasily was very courteous to our feelings and our time down there. The apartment itself was very clean. The living area was very comfortable, but one of my favorite features was the balcony with the confy rocking chairs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were very spacious. We had a great time and it was conveniently located close to the beach, restaurants and stores. Vasily came back the day of our departure to make sure we had a good experience and also brought some souvenirs for our family, that was extra especial. We would love to come back again soon. Vasiliy was extremely accommodating, sorting out all our transportation needs and giving great recommendations on activities. He was an absolutely wonderful host with great knowledge of the area and would highly recommend anyone to stay with him.

Our host, Vasiliy, was always in contact making sure everything was going smoothly, as well as recommending places to visit and restaurants to eat in, he always made sure everything was perfect and always had solutions to problems we faced. Vasiliy's crew was very nice, they were there waiting for us when we arrived and made sure we had everything necessary. The house had space, and was cleaned while we were there. We had to trouble getting around, just meters away from the beach made it easy to enjoy water activities. Would definitely recommend for anything planning a relaxing holiday.

Vasiliy's penthouse was amazing! We came to get away have a relaxing week at the beach, and we got all of that and more. The apartment is exactly like the pictures and we really loved the second floor deck! It has a great view and hammocks, a jacuzzi, a stereo to listen to music! Vasiliy went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed and was available for questions anytime of day. This was definitely one of my best airbnb experiences and we had an amazing time. Thank you Vasiliy!

Vasiliy was very helpful and tried to contact us often to make sure everything was going well. We had plenty of room for all 6 adults. The penthouse was close to the beach, restaurants and stores which was wonderful for us walking around. The view from the top level was awesome and the bar/spa level was perfect for our grilling and partying. We had a wonderful time an really enjoyed ourselves.

I couldn't have asked for a better host and a better apartment! vasily went out of his way to make sure we have to the best trip and experience possible. the penthouse is in a perfect location and is so spacious and well kept. the roof was our favorite part of the house.

For those who wish to experience Punta Cana without the all-inclusive resorts, Vasily's place is a little piece of paradise. We especially loved the rooftop and hammock and spent many hours there. As 4 New Yorkers who do not have a large kitchens and outdoor space at home, we took full advantage of the upstairs grill - Vasily's manager helped us find a vendor who provided door to door delivery of wonderful fresh seafood. The house is just a short walk from the beach (where a lovely beach bar has chairs for guests to use), 2 small super markets and other convenience stores. Vasily helped us arrange taxi when we needed to venture further. Vasily was very communicative and helpful. There was a small glitch with his local manger on the first day, but Vasily and his wife was very quick to help fix it and make our stay very enjoyable. We would certainly stay here again when we return to DR in the future.
