Now you can again spend your time outside for longer, and there is no specific hour when you need to go back home. But, nevertheless, do not forget about the pandemic. After all, some restrictions still exist. And everyone must follow them for our safety. So let’s talk about this in more detail.
Where is there no curfew in the Dominican Republic now?
Well, it is known that there are already seven lucky areas. We hope that the list will be increased soon. After August 9, there is no curfew in such areas of the Dominican Republic:
- Punta Cana
- Bayahibe
- Dominicus
- Cap Cana
- Bávaro
- Uvero Alto
- Santo Domingo
As a reminder, more recently, the Dominican Republic curfew was different on weekdays and weekends. A curfew was in effect from Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am. And on the weekends from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. You can also familiarize yourself with the situation with COVID-19 and other restrictions, which were described in detail earlier in our article about COVID-19 restrictions.
As we can see now, most resorts will not face a curfew in the near future. Without a doubt, it is good news for us, because now there is even more time to enjoy your Caribbean vacation. It also gives you more options to travel around this beautiful country. That is why we need to comply with all requirements so that the situation does not worsen.
