It was super helpful before we checked in, gave us wifi info/recommendations for places to eat. The staff were super accommodating, the place was really clean and modern. Felt safe in the apartment. The house is probably the prettiest in Cocotal golf club-it definitely stands out in comparison to the other homes! Villa Waterfall has a great pool and doors open from the sitting room to the pool. One downside are the couches which are a faux leather material in the case of water coming inside. Wasn’t the most “cozy” when wanting to lounge! The bedrooms are all the same with an open air bathroom and shower, in case someone is wanting privacy, this is not your house! We were fine with the setup. Our young children needed baths but no baths in the 4 rooms. Sobveh the house attendant was there daily from 9-6 and was wonderful! We loved her. She does all dishes, cleans, launders. She didn’t speak English so we spoke in Spanish to her. The house staff manager was helpful when we had a need arise—solved our minor issues. Overall we really liked the house and would recommend for families staying with older children.... Показать все

I have stayed at this property several times. The location is perfect with the beach, convenience store and restaurants. The cleaning crew, staff and owner is absolutely great. The rooms are always clean, and when something is needed the response and service is fast. I have never had to wait for the transportation as it has always been on time. Definitely recommended!... Just returned from a fab time at the occidental resort in Punta Cana the hotel is great rooms and surrounding areas of the resort were kept spotless had no probs with our room apart from having to wait for towels I guess is such a large resort housekeeping can become very busy. There were lots to do on the resort lots of activities for adults and children staff were helpful and friendly big thank you to Jose Matos and his staff at the buffet restaurant who helped to make my daughter’s special birthday enjoyable they decorated her room with birthday greetings and a cake thank you to other staff at the resort restaurants. A big thank you. The food was nice and plentiful lots of refreshments /cocktails available great choice of restaurants also the beach bar had a good selection of snacks I recommend the Dominican restaurant beach is nice also the pool areas enjoy night time entertainment and shows the Micheal Jackson show was spectacular. This was the best all inclusive holiday resort I ever stayed at I read the other reviews before I booked from the moment I arrived at the resort I could see that our stay would be enjoyable I have no negative comments on the staff and resort it’s the best so don’t be put off by some of the reviews.. We will be recommending also returning some time soon to the occidental resort. Hope you all have a enjoyable stay like us 👌... Показать все

Hard Rock punta Cana resort estuve en el mes de Mayo la pasamos muy bien, celebramos la bodas de mi hija muy buena atenciones un buen servicio y todas las habitaciones muy limpias y todos el hotel, en el restaurante muy buenas comidas especialmente el Toro restaurante y el Ciao restaurante, las atenciones de Orlando Herrera fueron excelente en esos dos restaurante que más visité. The owner is as honest as they come. I even sent him money by a mistake once I was back home and yes he kindly sent it back with no issues. I can confidently say that our stay at the waterfall villa was an absolute delight. The beauty of the house made our stay even more enjoyable. The host and his team were very supportive and prompt in addressing any concerns we had during our stay. The nice lady housekeeper ensured the house was spotless every day, and that only added to our comfort. With such a pleasant experience, I can't wait to visit this home again in the future. This place is a true gem. During our stay, we ate out twice and cooked at the house the rest of the time. There is some basic kitchenware available, but it’s a good idea to bring some additional supplies if needed. The property is quite spacious and perfect for a family mini-vacation. There are three rooms with two bathrooms on one side, and on the other side, across the living room, there is a fourth room with a bathroom, we did not use all of them (we were a group of 5) but it would be nice for a bigger company too. It was nice having AC in all the rooms, including the living room, as it could get a bit hot during the days. We really enjoyed the beach and shops around, there were beach chairs and umbrellas that we could use, which was nice. The beach is fantastic, although it can be quite wavy. We also appreciated having a pool to use after our beach time. The location is ideal, as it’s a short distance from downtown Punta Cana, we went to Coco Bongo night club and enjoyed the show, and on the other day went for a nice dinner at SBG restaurant (their pasta is to die for!). While Vasiliy was not present during our stay, the guys on site were really friendly and accommodating, and Vasiliy was always quick to respond to our messages.... Показать все

It was a Breathtaking experience! Cocotal area is just above all expectations. We were there with my family. Every morning you can hear birds chirping. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, you are literally in the paradise! The second time we were in Dominican Republic and the second time we booked with Vasiliy – and again an exceptional experience. His residences are not like other options where our friends had stayed. Vasiliy runs really tidy, fresh apartments with amazing design and amenities, and unbelievable service! You feel like everything at this place is thought out so you’d have the best stay possible. It is pretty unique at this combination. The apartment itself is just state of the art! Modern design, solid stainless steel appliances. It’s fresh and lovely. Ideal place if you want to escape from routine. We were worrying at this point to go the Dominican Republic you never know what safe for your family and what isn’t. With Cocotal and this apartment it was just the most secure place ever. Security checks at the gate day and night. It made us feel well protected. If you are looking for the most secure and private place – Cocotal is it! The big swimming pool in Cocotal is outstanding! All lounge chairs, palanquins, and the pool itself are so fantastic! Literally like in the movies. We couldn't even imagine that this is possible. There is a small bar right by the pool! We didn’t have time for the golf course, but even if you’re not playing golf – it make an unbelievable scenery. Green everywhere you see! We bought a day pass to the Sol Melia Resort. There are so many activities for children there – after watching/feeding turtles, ducks and flamingoes we played table tennis, billiard and then we’ve skipped the video games room and left the kids in the kindergarten (free of charge!) to be looked after by four animators while we hit the gym. We’ve enjoyed massages and sauna at Spa Center (at an extra fee). Spa center is very fancy, with modern design. Sol Melia's private beach is fantastic -- with parasols and beach chairs. White quartz sand which doesn’t burn your feet! And it’s next to a swimming pool! We bought a day pass to enjoy Sol Melia’s restaurants and bars... and have a romantic dinner. And again it was fantastic. Our residence was so quiet and perfect for rest that we could not expect more! We spent some time in the morning walking around Cocotal area with kids. It’s huge, tremendous. We took some amazing photos at the bridge over a small lake. Vasiliy did an amazing job. Communication and transfers were nice and fast. Our host was very attentive to details and true local expert. Overall impression – 10 out of 5! 😉 It’s the best ever value we received, so far! I wish we stayed more in this apartment than in a hotel. Next time...

Vasiliy's home was absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures if you can imagine that. When I arrived from the airport, Alex (Vasiliy's coworker/assistant) was there waiting for me with a smile on his face, and he is honestly the best. He was so friendly, knowledgable, funny, and he did everything possible to help us out while we stayed here. He told me he just started working with Vasiliy and I was shocked because he was so organized and professional about everything. Any questions I had about where to get groceries, what restaurants to go to, where to go out for drinks, etc., he quickly responded and it made the stay that much better. The ride from the airport was $35.00 usd which is pretty much standard if you're thinking about getting a taxi instead. (Plus you know who is picking you up and won't be kidnapped. Haha I kid, I kid. Kind of.) Anyway, we wanted to arrange for him to take my friend to the airport for her departure but his car had a little mishap, so he organized a friend to pick her up, and they thought they were supposed to pick up at a different time (30 minutes later, not a biggie but she had a flight to catch. But like I said it was not a big deal at allllll, she easily got a taxi instead) but Alex was so genuinely sorry about it, that he brought me wine and chocolates as a sorry gift. So you guys see what I mean, when I say he was the absolute best. Besides the out of this world amazing hospitality, the home was breathtakingly beautiful. The ocean view from the top floor cannot be beat. My favorite part of the vacation was waking up and going for a swim in the ocean (just a two minute walk, tops.) and coming back to the condo and relaxing on the bed on the party deck. It was like a dream. I truly cannot wait to be back! Thank you guys for making my stay so wonderful.
